The helmet is well constructed and sturdy and should last for quite some time under normal use. The name customization adds an extra touch of realism to an already awesome helmet.I need to say something about the seller. The helmet came initially with a broken sound effects microphone. Replacing with new batteries (pulled the earpiece out, if you're wondering how to do so) did not work. I then contacted the seller about return/replacement as it was for Halloween costume. Within 24 hours, the seller contacted me back and stated that a new microphone earpiece will be sent. I was worried as it was getting close to Trick-or-Treating time and did not expect to arrive on time. Surprisingly, the replacement unit arrived just in time for Halloween. Thank you, seller, for a wonderful customer service! You'd made a 6-year old very happy!

Right out of the box he was clamoring for this helmet and was nuts about it! The sounds are really good for pretending to launch and there size... My little dude with be able to play with it for years to come. (He's almost 4). Customization was nice quality and it really adds class and ownership for the kids. Seems durable. The only trouble he had was pushing the button to open the visor. It's a little difficult but we'll work on it. Liftoff!!!!

This feels like it was worth about half of what I paid for it. I expected the customization to be a vinyl decal but it's just a P-touch label stuck on. If I had known I would have bought the cheaper version and printed the sticker myself. Plastic feels cheap as well. I was excited to gift this to my niece but not so much anymore.

Okay so at first I purchased the wrong color (silver) had only paying attention to the picture (which showed white) and not the fine print. A mistake I should not have overlooked, right?! But fortunately FUN TO THE MAXX was so awesome and sent the replacement right away! We are all so happy! Thank you very much!

This was another purchase try as I had to return the first one from another vendor. This helmet has metal fasteners that hold the face shield in place. My 5 year old grandson can lift the face shield up and down easily and it doesn't come off. I didn't have to put it together either when it came. It was ready to be played with.He loves his name printed on the front of it too.Best quality for several years of playing astronaut and for Halloween costume time.

I bought this as a gift for my friend’s kid. I honestly thought it looked kind of goofy on her because of the shape (but I’m not sure what else I would have expected it to look like. It’s not like it can be tapered around the neck bc she wouldn’t be able to get it on her head.) It doesn’t really matter what I think though because I’ve been told she is obsessed with it. The personalization was a really nice feature too - she’s a total astronaut boss with it on!

Loved everything about these.....especially personalization! My 4 year old twin astronaut grandsons (astronauts) don’t want to take off!

This is a unique item, to be sure. It fits well, is solidly made, and was a real hit for the four year old's birthday.
