Good for picking up empty dishes, not for prey items.
They don't feel very firm at all. Even at tightest grip they're wobbly. Have dropped all manner of prey items from crickets and roaches to frozen-thawed and live mice.I did find a good use for them removing empty feed dishes from my cricket enclosure though, the rubber does grip the little porcelain dishes better than it does a dubia.

Good old pliers work better
For anyone who owns snakes, these are about worthless. If you grab the rodent by the scruff of the neck it might work, but the tail of the dangled rodent slips right through the rubber making them useless or, at the very least, a pain to use. Since we feed frozen/thawed, it's easier to just use a pair of pliers.

Good grip, good length.
Very good quality tweezers. Turned out to be too big for the original purpose, but I am going to keep it, as it makes retrieving whatever fell in the sink drain, possible. Also, may use it in the shop while fishing for the right screw in a variety box, just to keep my fingers away from sharp tips. :)

good grip and good length
I have 3 spiders and feeding with normal tweezers was fine till they get big, especially the more aggressive ones, now can feed up close without leaping worries.
