100pcs 3/32" 2.381mm Si3N4 Silicon Nitride Ceramic Bearing Balls G5

I have 2 sets of Shimano PD-A600 road/touring pedals that I use for gravel racing and touring/road. These get a lot of miles and I purge and refresh the grease in them every month or so. They started clicking. It was loud and annoying as %#$!. People started to shun me - who could blame them - and eventually even dogs wouldn't bark at me. 3/32 is the ball bearing size, and if you are going to go - go ape - upgrade to ceramic bearings and save .00001 grams per pedal. Disassembled and rebuilt with these ceramic bearings, fresh marine grease, and now have silent, click-free pedaling. Right after replacing I did a 205 mile ride with nothing but the hiss of tires on the road - awesome. ****Added bonus - ceramic is harder than steel, so the new bearings will actually polish and smooth any micro nicks or pits in the bearing races from the skanky old bearings. 4 pedals x 24 bearings each leaves 4 left on the workbench, so the count was accurate. Really can't go wrong here.

Bought these to clean up some old and sad linear rails that were missing some balls. Unfortunately, I discovered that MGN12 blocks take about 68 balls a piece, so I was a little short on the four that I needed to fill only ordering 200. That said, I did get full bags, so they seem to be doing better with the packing. I'll be buying the other 100 that I need to fill the last block.

Measured 30% of the bearings I received (counted one by one, 100 in the package, bad reviews probably lost some). 29 out of those 30 measured in at a slightly undersized 2.379. This is within my calipers spec (+-0.003mm). The one that was not within this spec was way oversized, measuring 2.39. These will likely be a good purchase for most, if you are willing to clear each ball manually to pull out the out of spec ones. I WOULD NOT get these with the ENOMAKER rails that amazon suggests, as those rails have severely undersized bearings due to the coating on the rail.

These worked great on a linear rail. No binding, much smoother than steel bearings. Just a dab of lube and good to go.

Looked at about 15, used 2 mics, checked both with a standard first. Of the 15 all were undersize and varied 6 ten thousands in D. Couldn't be used.

Used these to replace the stainless balls that came with the budget rails I got for my ender 3. They seem to work great and ride very smooth. We will see how they stand-up to prolonged use.
