This product information is wrong. The dimensions show the actual box it comes in not the air filter itself. If you cross reference the part number to K&N website it shows actual dimensions. This fits my 1997 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport with the 2.2L engine perfectly. Improved throttle response and overall performance.

Fitment was excellent, installation was a breeze

This is a standard drop in OEM replacement filter. I have used some of these on my cars, and have always had nothing but positive things to say about K&N filters. I even bought their cone filters to replace my Cold Air Intake filters with theirs. If you want a little more out of your car and don't mind spending a little money, you will not regret making this purchase.

Replaceable air filters are a great idea to help reduce landfill use and reduce car maintenance costs. The increased air flow and the added efficiency of your automobile's engine is also a plus. The increase may be slight but every little bit helps. The item arrived promptly and with clear instructions for both of my vehicles! It's just an air filter so they weren't really required but the fact that somebody makes sure you have what you need is impressive to me. In this modern day service often seems overlooked but not here! Just remember to get the K&N filter cleaning kit and clean the filter every 5000 miles and you should be all set.

I recently bought a new K&N air filter for my new (used) car. Come to find out, my car already had one when I bought it; however, I still switched it out (although they are reusable). I feel like my car performs well and I love that I'll never have to buy another air filter for it. Good bang for your buck.

After reading some reviews for drop in air filters for my 2007 STi, the K&N was always among the most recommended. Flows a lot better than stock...you can tell by how much happier the turbo sounds. I have heard some mixed opinions about the filtering ability compared to the stock, but I have yet to test it. If you're due for a replacement, or are just looking for a bit more airflow getting into that turbo, this isn't a bad choice. Helps to take the air box out as this is a little thicker than the factory paper filter, but was fine getting it to fit once I did. I reset my ECU while installing this, and replacing the stock rough plastic Pre-MAF tube with a nice smooth, tough silicone one from COBB, and it makes the turbo and bypass valve come to life...a noticeable difference in airflow as well. HP/Torque? Don't expect it. Just more airflow.

2007 STI fits perfect. Nothing earth shattering, but certainly noticed a bit more pep in the step. I cleaned the MAF and reset the ECU as well install. I was tuned with a new MAF a few months back and A/F Learn1 was consistently -2.35 ish at idle. Post install, ECU reset and ~ 500 miles A/F learn1 @ idle sits around -5.25 now. It's not an issue, just an observation. Getting the box lid on is near impossible without disconnecting the intermediate inlet hose. Instructions detail removal of the whole air box, but I was able to do it without complete removal.

I have used K&N air filters for many years with all of my cars. It fits perfectly in my 1997 Subaru Legacy Outback 2.5L. Giving me good mpg and adding extra power to the litthe 4cyl. I recommend to go to K&N's main website to check the right filter for your specific vehicle. Other K&N filters will indicate it will fit for your car, but it doesn't.

Perfect fit, good quality

Vorab: viel erwartet hab ich nicht von dem Teil, Einbau dauerte wenige Minuten, Es erfolgte eine Leicht spürbare Leistungssteigerung mit etwas geilerem Sound. Fühlt sich toll an beim fahren, jedoch hält sich der nutzen in Grenzen. ist halt so ein 0815 Tuningteil, welcher jeder montieren kann, der cool sein will. Empfehlung nur wenn man nicht zuviel erwartet.

Bought this one so that I do not have to wait whilst my original KN Filter is drying before I can use the car. Excellent product.
