Hal Leonard Banjo Method - Book 2 (Book/Online Audio)

I probably would have given a 5 star rating, however the item that I received was not as advertised. The ad and picture state a cd is included but what I got was audio access. I really prefer the cd which I can play on my stereo without logging into a computer or phone.

Bought for my wife. She has book one and has hand good success with it. Book two continues the same system of learning.

Great book for learning. This is the second book for learning the banjo. I highly recommend this book for those learning to play the Earl Scruggs method.

What a great follow up to Method Book 1. Picks upo and continues the excellent, step by step instruction. I almost don't need my teacher.

The book is fine and a good continuation from the material covered in book one. However, the audio disc is very poor insofar as the count ins on the exercises are far too quiet and mumbled. By contrast, book one had clear click track metronome counts. I ended up ripping the CD and using audio editing software to raise the level and count ins and normalise the tracks. It's a tedious job, but better than cranking the volume to hear the counts and then haviing the banjo demos so loud that it's hard to hear what you are playing.

Ce livre est très bien fait avec partitions de standards. Ne s'adresse pas à un "vrai" débutant dans l'apprentissage du banjo. L'enregistrement audio des morceaux est sous CD.
