I have recently found out I have several severe food allergies. Yay. My life and diet have completely changed. Everything on the shelf that has the words “gluten free”, “dairy free”, “plant based” etc is two to three times the price. I still get cravings, and thank Heaven there are options!! These bars are awesome!! They taste amazing! Seriously so close to the real thing, you’d never know!! The rice crisp chocolate bars are incredible too!! I love dark chocolate, but so many allergies! These work great, a little pricey, but so are all the other alternatives I am able to eat. I just wish all these companies would cut us “special diet because we have to” people a break. It’s not a fad for me, it’s my health and my life. At least I can still enjoy a candy bar every once in awhile.

I order this for my Daughter in law at Xmas. We all love Enjoy Life dark chocolate bars.In my honest opinion it is the best chocolate you can buy today. There are no "extras" in this choc. ... no soy wheat, etc.There was an mix up with my order and the wrong chocolate was sent. I called Amazon and they were great in getting it taken care of. Great customer service iand product availability s why I keep coming back.

When you have a little fella, with LOTS of food allergies and everyone else gets a candy bar for a treat, you are awfully thankful for Enjoy Life and their line of products. Boom Choco Boom bars fit the bill for a sweet treat for my little guy. For being an allergen free food, the chocolate bar is actually quite tasty. The cheapest I can find these bars locally are nearly $2.00 EACH!! That's a lot of money for a small chocolate bar. When I purchased these here on Amazon, I caught them at a good price and ended up paying about $1.30 per bar! I love a good deal. I love that my kiddo can eat similar things the rest of us do. I've that he enjoys his sweet treat.

So I bought these because they are dairy free, and thought they would taste similar to Hershey's but I actually like them a lot more! When I get hershey's or other candy bars, they don't taste as chocolatey to me - by that I don't mean these are dark or bitter, the flavor is almost like what Hershey's syrup or maybe Guittard chocolate chips taste like. At first I thought the bars seemed really small for the price, and they are more expensive for good reason (being free of many allergens) but I really like the size now! Each bar has I think four squares but I like to cut each square up in four and suck on them, which prolongs the chocolate flavor and so a bar usually lasts me a few days.

revoltingly sweet. worse still, the re-crystallized cane juice crunches between your teeth when you eat it. which is sad, it actually has a good chocolate flavor, it's just really hard to taste it through all that sweetener. after eating just one piece of one bar i needed an entire glass of milk to wash it down.this has over 11g of sugar per oz. by comparison, the highest fully sweetened (not semi-sweet or bitter sweet) chocolate bar I normally buy has less than 6g of sugar per oz.As far as allergen free goes, this lives up to it. I was able to eat it with no adverse reaction. so, yay there.UPDATE:I took the remaining 23 bars to work and left them out in one of the coffee kitchens. these were a huge hit. so while the sweetness wasn't a selling point for me, I had roughly 5 people seek me out to find out where I'd bought them so they could order more for themselves. To each their own.

Arrived in perfect condition. These currently cost less per chocolate bar than they do at my local store. I’m so glad there’s a “milk” chocolate bar that I can eat without having to worry about allergens and dairy or make my own. They are creamy and fairly close to real milk chocolate taste-wise, in my opinion. So tired of dark chocolate. Great texture, too. Love that there is a crispy rice version available to boot!Edit: I couldn’t figure out why these made me bloated, because they seemed so harmless and safe after eliminating so many foods from my diet due to dairy sensitivity and IBS. I found out that honey is high in FODMAPs, which are bad for people with IBS, and so the crunch bars were not good for me. I wish they would stop putting honey in them. Then they would be great for vegans, people with IBS, and others sensitive to honey. Makes me sad.

Really good tasting chocolate, great texture, crunch, color etc. Even though it’s dairy free, etc, you can’t detect any difference.

I ordered these Enjoy Life Dark Chocolate candy bars that are dairy and nut free. They are delicious and most stores, even Whole Foods do not carry them. I was so impressed by the shipping, the wrapped it so carefully that even in a heat wave, the chocolates arrived in great shape. So thanks!
