Very good thick quality glass. There are total 5 containers. 2 containers are divided in 2 compartments which I love using for packing my lunch. I like to separate my food so it wouldn't get soggy and mix all up by lunch time. The seal of the containers are very strong, well sealed, and leak proof. On top of that, there is a little vent on the lid so you can warm up the food in the microwave easily.
