Product Description          Composed by Stephen Flaherty, Seussical the Musical features lyrics by Lynn Ahrens & Dr. Seuss. Stephen Flaherty won the Tony Award in 1998 for his compostion, Ragtime; he is also well known for composing Once on This Island.  There are 36 tracks on this album: Tracks 1-18 contain the background tracks and guide vocals; tracks 19-36 contain the accompaniment tracks alone. This album is a re-recording in the original show key and show tempo. This album is recorded in the CD+G format. When played in a karaoke machine, lyrics will appear on-screen. No lyrics will appear when the album is played on a traditional CD player, however, a lyric booklet is included in the jewel case.  This album is a 2007 Parents' Choice Award Approved Product. This CD is great if you want Seussical for adults. However, if you're looking to do this show for kids, the keys are all wrong, you'll have to get the CD from the publisher of the musicsl "Seussical Jr." It's a great way to learn new material if you don't play piano.
