Every time I hop up expecting to do a couple extra pull ups but end with the same result. After a few weeks of doing pull-ups with an extra 25 lbs of weight strapped to me, I can know hit close to 20 pull ups without weight. This belt is a quality made belt that is comfortable to wear. To use it you throw the belt around you then run the chain from one side through the second loop. You then run the chain through the hole in a plate and clip it back to wear you started. The weight sits comfortably below your crotch and between your knees. This belt will be the only one you will ever need to buy unless of course you somehow loose it. Id say this belt cannot take more than 180lbs unless you replace the standard hoops with heavy duty harbingers. Had to replace the hoops with heavy duty carabigners. Belt can now take 270lb which is the max amount of plates that will fit on the belt **Q: Can this be used as hip squat belt ?** A: I'm sure it can, but if you're using 45s they'll probably hit the ground. **Q: Does this dip belt also work as a weight belt?
