I teach preschool, and need some simple jewelry in many colors, to coordinate with the various tops I wear at work . . . That are relatively child-proof. I found these smaller pony beads on line, and have been using them to make bangle with stripes, wave patterns, and even one with Pac man and three ghosts. Work your stitching, zip up the two ends of the bracelet, knot the cord, and glue the knot with clear nail polish. I let the bracelets dry overnight, then clip the elastic flush to the knot. I haven't had one break yet! P.S.- I saw some bracelets at any antique store lately that the dealer had made using these beads and right angle weave.
