Solid punching bag stand, a little laborious to put together
I've read quite a few reviews stating that the holes don't line up or the final hole doesn't line up and it is shotty craftsmanship, and I was almost there to feeling that way then, I back tracked and started over. I took out all bolts and removed all nuts. IMPORTANT TIP: DO NOT tighten down all bolts as you line up and connect a section. Matter of fact, don't tighten down anything initially. Put the bolts through the holes and attach the nuts but do not screw them down tight. Just put it together per the instructions with the nuts and bolts provided but leave it loosely fastened down. This does two things, it 1. gets all bolts aligned with the holes as needed and 2 allows you to readjust the positioning of the arms/legs/neck of the stand to get the bolt through and aligned. Once I got all bolts in place, then I went through methodically tightening up, from bottom to top, and it was a breeze. If you have another person that can help you put it together, great. If you have problems with grip, arthritis, have issues with balancing two metal bars then I recommend please get help putting it together. I don't fit in those categories so I put it together myself and it was a snap once I backed up and started over. It's solid, well made, and will serve ou perfectly. It's about 7" tall so please have enough ceiling clearance.

Great value
I give this product 5-stars as I think it's a great value for the price. If you're a serious fighter, you may want to consider a different/more expensive stand as this one doesn't give a ton of room for footwork. I was concerned that the side supports would be a problem for roundhouse kicks, but they aren't at all. For me, this gets the job done great! I would also recommend putting this stand on some kind of padding and adding weights to keep it secure. Pros: sturdy and easy to assemble (I'd recommend using a socket wrench vs the cheap hex wrench they provide it will cut down your assembly time a ton). I like this option because you can move the stand around and won't damage your ceiling studs. Cons: may not be high enough for very tall users. I'm 5'3 so it's not a problem, but if you're very tall you may want to consider a different option

Great Bag Stand.
First things first. It took three weeks for this stand to get to my apartment. The seller did not provide a tracking number, so I had no idea where it was for most part. By checking the order number, I at least found out that it was suppose to be shipped by Fedex. But the day it was suppose arrive at my apartment, I got an email from the seller (BuyECDCo) saying that the package would be delayed. And for some reason, it went from being shipped by Fedex to UPS. Don't know how that happened. I had already wait two weeks for the stand to arrive, so hearing that it would be delayed further frustrated me. I understand that delays happen, but waiting three weeks for a package is ridiculous. Especially since most of the the packages I've ordered off of Amazon.com have shipped two or thee days after I've ordered them. Anyways, after finally receiving the Heavy Bag Stand, I can say that it works great. It has a nice design and it's easy to install (I did it by myself). It's pretty sturdy, if not a little wobbly. But buying some stabilizing weights might fix that. It doesn't take up a lot of space, but you should definitely make sure you have room to store it. It's pretty tall too, so I'd recommend storing it a room with a high enough ceiling. It has a nice length to it, but unfortunately the bag doesn't come up that high. It comes up to about chest length depending on how tall you are. You could probably place it on something if you want it to be higher. Or you try to find a smaller chain for your bag if possible. Also, keep in mind that once it's assembled, it's pretty heavy. If you have move to another home, I'd recommend taking it apart first. Because it's not some your going to take out of your front door once it's put together. In closing, I say that this is a pretty decent bag stand. It has it's faults, but it's I recommend it for any body looking to get into boxing. As for the seller, I don't think I'll buy from them again. Especially after how long I had to wait.

High quality at bargain price.
I had read several reviews before buying this and several said it was easy to put together. It was indeed easy as long as you follow instructions and don't crank the bolts tight until you have ALL of them installed. I didn't follow this instruction and had to go back and loosen them to get the last brace to line up and attach. Have been using the unit with a 100 pound heavy bag for a few months now and it has held up well and is very stable, I however see the need for the pegs to add weights on the base and need to add a few because fast paced workouts can really get the bag swinging and that can make the stand start to move.

I’m 6’5” and this stand is great!
I’m going to review three things: Packaging, assembly and use. This item was packaged extremely well. Every part was protected with plastic, foam and cardboard. Thankfully very little styrofoam. Every part was perfect and the hardware is arrayed on a cardboard platen with shrink wrap. The assembly took about forty-five minutes by myself. First off, this is a pretty simple design. One could assemble it intuitively without referring to the instructions. The instructions aren’t much more than a picture, but much more is not really required. I found the holes matched up fine, all the hardware was there, and voila! All put together! This stand is very stable for my type of workout. I don’t do MMA and all that stuff, just plain punching. I’m 6’5” tall, and this stand put my 80 pound bag at a perfect height. I did add weights to the two long legs, and haven’t had it dance on me yet! I think it’s great, and I recommend it.

Perfect for what we needed!
Got my teenage son his first heavy bag for Christmas. We were planning on ceiling mounting it in the garage, but got worried it would pull out once it arrived and changed our mind, so we ordered this. Its winter in the Midwest and our garage isn't heated so we set it up in the house for now. Directions said it takes 2 adults to set up, but I did it almost totally by myself. It said it takes 1-2 hours, but it took at most 45 minutes. Make sure to loosely tighten all bolts until the end so all of the holes line up. Have been using for a few days without weight on it and we definitely need to weigh it down. Overall, it is great quality, holds the bag well, and is exactly what we were looking for. Would recommend.

Quality
Recommend to buy. no question about it. Needed something that would fit in my backyard, where I could just get to punching when I needed some cardio and stress relieving. I put it together in 30-45 minutes by myself. Instructions recommend for 2 people to set it up ( mainly I feel it is for setup time), so if you have that available do it. All parts are labeled, so it is really hard to mess this up. You are going to NEED, NEED, NEED, weights to put on stand or pegs. Especially once you start speeding up those punches and putting in power punches. I have two 50.lbs sand bags I got from Home Depot (one on each side) and a 25 lb. in the rear. Only that weight was good enough for me at 5'9 180 lbs with a 80 lb bag. Otherwise this stand has been fun and convenient, would recommend in terms of practicality and ease of setup.

Crappiest stand ever
First, the box it was shipped in was ok and the product was adequately wrapped. Second I don't know what the heck is with equipment coming out of China but there is no quality control as far as screw placement for mounting. The holes don't line up to screw it all together! Who checks this stuff before they send it out for sale? Horrific quality of bolt lineups makes any of the sturdy construction useless because you cant put it together! Crapware. I expected better from Everlast. I even have a bag built for use with this style stand and the bag is too tall! Either a knockoff or Everlast is only a name now. Avoid.

Great stand!
It's sturdy and does what it is supposed to do: support the heavy bag. I prefer this option instead of supporting the bag by hanging it to a bulk head cause the basement is finished and there is gyprock on the ceiling which I fidn't feel like tampering with to support the bag. The stand provides versatility in the sense that you can move it around to another location as opposed to the bag being fixed to a ceiling of course.

Make sure the piece received is not defective
Defective - base straight plate had misaligned holes so it was impossible to screw in the side base arms and the bag supports

Très satisfait
Solide et facile à assembler. Tient bien mon sac, faut mettre un peu de poids a la base pour ne pas qu'il bouge si vous taper tres fort. Très satisfait.
