OSN CP10 Professional Camera Window Mount Clamp with 3-Way Tripod Head

I've used several similar window mounts with varying degrees of satisfaction. Most of them have been hard to use, difficult to lock in position or not large/sturdy enough to hold a spotting scope or medium telephoto lens steady. This one is a very good compromise for our needs.. I say "our" because this is the second one of this model I've purchased. My wife and I, both being birders, like to have the ability to slip a spotting scope onto the car window when regular binoculars are not quite powerful enough. This mount, while not equivalent to a steady tripod on the ground, certainly gives a quick and easy way to pop a spotting scope on the window when needed. Hard to beat the price, too...!

If you've ever needed a tripod where you didn't have room for one; this is perfect, if have room for a car instead. I have but one complaint; instead of only opening 1/2" for a window glass, why not wider? What if you needed to mount it on a pick-up tailgate? Think chase seen, without the chase. Parking with the tailgate pointed at your subject is much more realistic in certain situations. Even if it had interchangeable base-plates for different thicknesses and cost twice as much it would be worth it. The item is fantastic for its intended purpose, but it could be so much more.

This window mount clamp work as expected, I am using a Sony HDR CX 134 Handycam. A little jitter during driving but it is from the bumpy road and a stationary window mount. Distant filming is great but closer objects like buildings or guard rail not. I would recommend this camera mount clamp to anyone. Any window mount clamp will do the same because it is stationary and locked in. Overall, great product; I purchased osn cp10 to film sport games using (canon 5d mark ii lens canon 70-200) out of a press box window. I was able to clamp it in between the window slider base. It did the job but prefer more smoothness and stability.

This provided a much needed solution for us. For a community theater production of "Frost/Nixon", we needed a way to mount camcorders inside of a mock studio TV camera shell that would allow the operator to adjust pan and tilt inside. Instead of a window glass, we could use luan as a "L" bracket to attach this clamp. It worked exactly as needed and we had all movement typical of a tripod mount.

This is the second time I've bought this. My first one was stolen out of my camera gear, I enjoyed using the first one so much that I HAD to replace it. Perfect for cold nights where you want to shoot the stars but want some protection from the elements. Connects solidly to the window. I was surprised how well this actually worked.

I have had similar items but this one is tops! Arrived very fast! I have used my 35 MM Nikon SLR with zoom lenses and it supports it fine.

This is an excellent gadget that I would and have reccomended to shutterbug and serious photographers alike. It does,everything it promises to do. I love it!
