My son mentioned he wanted one of these some time ago.While desperately searching for a last minute gift I remembered this (via looking at novelty pyjamas).Seemed reasonable price so worth the gamble.Sizes a little confusing (all sellers seem to be just as bad) so looked at reviews before ordering, and, Thank You, it helped.So for your advice...My son is 20, 5ft 10 ish, slim build, 12” collar, prob 36” chest.He opened it and laughed out loud, turns out he asked for it 3 years ago(!)Tried it on (scared by label-UK L) but it fit well, Medium would have been ok but looked odd. (Think Del Boy Trotter)He thought it was ace, loves the feel of it, and although it matches our Xmas table decs, he was really chuffed with it.His girlfriend reportedly laughed at him, then said it was actually really nice and tried to steal it.So thanks, a good present that I bought as a joke, turned out to be a winner

This is an attractive, cool and very light weight robe.It is 95% Polyester and 5% Spandex. It has to be hand washed separately at a maximum of 40 and ironed below 110 degrees.The stitching appears to be well done and the seams look strong. There is a single short length of ribbon that looks as though it should have been part of an inside waist tie, but there was no corresponding bit on the other side. The blue satin collar continues down the robe to form an internal lining edge. Although it is joined to the bottom hem, it is not stitched which can be a bit annoying if it flaps open. The tie is well made but a bit on the short side. I bought the UK size L and it had a 60 inch (1.5m) tie. I was optimistically hoping to use this myself, but It has now been liberated by my wife. She is a size 16 and finds it just about perfect for her, although even she would have been happier with one size larger..... maybe we're just used to lager style robes with a decent wrap around.

Bought for my boyfriend and he loves it. Opted for the larger size and glad I did as think the sizes are probably a bit smaller than normal. Was worried how good the quality would be but very happy for the price paid and looks lovely.

I followed the advice of previous reviews and ordered the next size up and glad I did, It's a nice comfortable size. It's very comfortable to wear and looks really nice. However, as previously advised in other reviews, the waist tie is ridiculously small, even with the size up, I can only just do it up, needs to be at least 1' or 30cms longer and at least half as wide again, preferably double.

It was very surprising, I ordered a M size robe and for some reason I was sent an XL. However, to my surprise the sleeves on the robes are quite small so it fits perfectly. I like the material, feels very premium, in this heat in the UK I haven't taken it off. I think it's a good purchase. I do however recommend buying a slightly larger size, I think it's never a bad idea to have a robe that's too big rather than too small...

I am glad I read the reviews! I am 5’6” and a size M- so I ordered size XXL and it fits perfectly!! It is a quality product, well made and delivered very quickly. I am very pleased. My only criticism is that the internal ties are configured for the female and not the male, thereby creating the wrong-sided fold-over, it is therefore a female garment and not for men as advertised.

I bought this for my partner as he has a lovely thick and soft dressingown but its too hot for when hes just got out the shower or on summer days.This has a great silky texture which feels lovely on the skin and isnt too hot or cold.It fits him perfectly and rests just on the knees so best if you like shorter robes.

Bought this as a bit of a giggle for a hospital stay requiring a dressing gown. This robe was worn for its purpose, and also has been shown off and flaunted in social gatherings at the merest mention!It was a bit smaller than we would have preferred, and would have probably ordered a larger one in hindsight however not hugely smaller than the usual fit so it was still suitable.
