It's worth it, for the price, just find better directions online
Great product....directions were lacking but easily found alternatives via Google and YouTube....the cork fitting is considerably more difficult since it requires free hand carving each cork pad... does not include cork strip to fit the 3 sections of the clarinet together...but for the price it's worth it. Music shop was going to charge over $300 to re-pad....not including any other "issues". Took about 3 hours and lots of Internet lookups for better directions, but it was worth it. I should have bought a second kit just for backups.

Worked for me
Bought this to repair my son's clarinet. His band instructor wanted to send it to the shop for repair but it wasn't in my budget- so my son and I troubleshot it and found a couple of bad pads. Well for the price of this kit I figured we'd try and fix it ourselves first. We got the kit in good time and everything was as described. I used tweezers to carefully get the old key pads out and replaced them without taking the keys off of the clarinet. Everything turned out fine and we saved a lot of money. The clarinet works great once again.

Pads Were Thin, Warped, and Inconsistent in Size
Some components of this kit were very useful: Adhesive Pellets, Shellac Flakes, Cork Grease Tube, and Mini Leak Light. But several items were sorely lacking. The screwdriver was not as pictured, it was tiny, at least 1/2 the size of the one pictured, which made it difficult to remove many of the screws on my clarinet. The pads themselves were much thinner than another brand of replacement pads I had bought as extras. They were also warped and inconsistent in size, which made them extremely difficult, and most times impossible, to level and cover the tone hole properly. The main reason I purchased this kit was to re-pad my clarinet, so the fact that the pads were unusable made this purchase very disappointing and not worth the cost. The "Andoer Clarinet Leather Pads" (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00S0ZNWES/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) I purchased as extras were extremely good and installed perfectly.

Brought new life to an old clarinet
I purchased this to repad an old student grade clarinet that I found at a garage sale. It came with a complete set of pads and the glue and an array of wedges to help seat the new pads. It now plays & now my daughter has a working clarinet for band. This was a much more economical alternative to having it done at the local repair shop (they wanted 200 bucks & the clarinet isn't even worth that much). I'm very satesfied with my purchase.

Great Kit
Seemed overwhelming at first, but really it was quite easy. All supplies and directions are there to make changing the pads easy. My only issue was figuring out which pad went where. Would be great if they came numbered to make separating easier. All in All great product I will purchase again!

great!
this package comes from a company that cares. the creators are clearly instrumentalists who know what it’s like to be in a position with a broken instrument.
