Pepsico Quaker Hot Cereal, Oat Bran, 16 Ounce -- 12 per case.

These 2 boxes of Oat Bran, for which I paid over $16, came sealed in plastic. Apparently this was to keep any more cereal from exiting the boxes, which were partially crushed, making the ends gap open & allowing grains to escape. Probably a few tablespoons total, but at this price, one would think more care would be taken to assure the packages were intact. The outer delivery box was sturdy & intact. The cereal itself is a good choice for fiber without chewiness, tasty with brown sugar. No idea why it's so hard to find, & when you do, it's overpriced.

This product appears to no longer be available in grocery stores because I've been looking for it for a long time. I use Quaker Oat Brand Hot Cereal to make oat bran muffins for which the recipe is on the back of the box. I was very happy to find the product available on Amazon.I did notice that the recipe on the back of the box has been modified slightly from the previous recipe. The 1/4 cup honey has been removed, as well as the option to use 2% milk instead of fat free milk. I completely agree with why these changes have been made - it makes these delicious muffins even healthier.

ARRIVED TODAY - DID NOT LIKE THE LATE ARRIVAL. ALSO DID NOT LIKE THAT THE OAT BRAN CEREAL BOXES DID NOT HAVE A "BEST IF USED BY" DATE ON THE BOTTOM OF ANY OF THE 12 BOXES. I HAVE ORDERED THIS CEREAL MANY TIMES, AND ALL BOXES HAVE BEEN DATED.I FOUND THE "BEST IF USED BY" ON THE BOXES! IT PRINTED IN AN UNUSUAL SPOT ON THE BOXES. SORRY ABOUT THAT. 08/25/23

Cereal is the best bran for muffins.However, the 2 boxes I received were in a plastic bag. In transportation the boxes were banged up and there were loose cereal in the plastic that I tossed out. Quacker Oat Bran Cereal is hard to find. Amazon is cheaper.

We always have loved this brand of Oat Bran… very creamy and tastes great!!For some reason it is not available in any store in our area..So we order two boxes at the exorbitant price from the seller and freeze one box for future use..wish the price could be in line with other cereals..
