Great film in good quality format
After years of only having a DVD, I'd transferred from my VHS copy, it's great to have a good version of it.I even bought a BluRay player in order to see it!I wasn't disappointed!

but the sound track is the best of any film I have ever seen
I brought a record collection many years ago & the Sound track was one of the LP's. I watched it for the sound track alone, the film is OKL, but the sound track is the best of any film I have ever seen.

New to me
I got this just because it was cheap and from Arrow Video (what great discs they do. Made with real love). However I'm glad I did. The movie was a great watch, surrounding a radio station ran by the people for the people and what happens when commercial influences start getting more and more power. It's as prevalent now as back then. Maybe even more so. The studios putting money behind the artist we should listening to, the mainstream. Few stations are about the music itself now a days. Isn't it why more people turn from the radio. It's a great film amd well worth a watch.

I had forgotten what an amazing film this was.If you're a fan of everything 70's to early 80's this is a must. And as for the music......

DVD arrived promptly. However ,as noted elsewhere I think some scenes have been cut. It's been a while since I last saw it but I am sure in the original that Linda Ronstadt introduces the band members and during here concert I seem to remember a scene in the original where the camera swings round to a DJ in the audience who announces himself as the DJ from QSKY who "Steal the show"

70’s Flashback
I have never seen this movie, but it is fabulous turn the clock ⏰ back to 1978. Great cast and an incredible soundtrack. I would definitely recommend it..

If you're an old school kid who loves rock n' roll ... you gotta have FM!
Yeah, if you're a 70's kid like me, you probably remember this film. LA radio station (probably based a little bit on the old K-rock) fights against the corporate takeover of rock n' roll. The plot isn't overwhelmingly complex ... but the live footage (Jimmy Buffet, Linda Ronstadt, Tom Petty) is absolutely AMAZING. The Linda Ronstadt performance, in particular, is one of her best, IMHO. Look for Eileen Brennan (Goldie Hawn's commander in "Private Benjamin") as a curmudgeonly hard-as-nails DJ who leads the battle against the record company execs. Love it! No static at all :)

Great movie.
This movie means more now than it did in the 1970's. Radio has become 10 time more commercial than back then and is in need of a statement of this nature more than ever.If you hate mainstream radio get this film.

Stellar Cast - Great Storyline
This is one of my favorite movies. The music is fantastic and the characters are incredible. Takes me back to a time when you could afford to go to a concert and life was much simpler. Outstanding movie!!!!!!!
