Good stuff on a budget
This stuff works great on a budget. There are some huge misconceptions though... Stop watching videos and heating your water etc to dissolve this stuff.Potency: The potency is certainly strong.. You almost don't even need CalMag+ because there is lots in this even if you're using Reverse Osmosis Purified Water aka Distilled Water. If I recall it has 4% Calcium, 0.19% Iron and 2% Magnesium? Plenty for most cannabis plants. This nutrient powder is easy to mix as long as you have a large resevoir and stir addequately. Personally I use like 60-65 F water, fill a 5 gallon bucket and add 1 Tablespoon per/5 gallons start to finish with zero issues.*THIS PRODUCT IS VERY ACIDIC. UNLESS YOUR STARTING WATER IS LIKE 8 PH YOU WILL MOST CERTAINLY HAVE TO ADD PH UP TO THE SOLUTION AFTER MIXING TO REACH 5.5-6 PH DEPENDING ON YOUR NEEDS!*Personally I have to add 10 ml of General Hydroponics PH UP to 5 gallons of water even when using a "light" dose of 3 teaspoons (1 tablespoon) per 5 gallons of water... A tip to cut back on PH UP would be using General Hydroponics Armor Si product. This is quite an alkaline product and will require you to use 50% less PH UP when dosing as the label suggests, I believe 2ml/gal.Good luck everyone and happy growing!

After decades of using this product I have to move on for moral reasons.
Please know this is a unfair review.Do you not hold my stars or my review against this product the product itself is hands-down the best bang for buck fertilizer you can get ... using it for years and years It truly excels in situations where you have hard alkaline water it seems that there is a pH bufferI’m sure a lot of people buying this product know about the Lucas formula or the one part dry formula whatever you wanna call it All I call it is my garden going from suck to amazing . While simplification and cost reduction . Just use this and this alone ... higher dose if u need more nitrogen but this is a true dry one part...I’m going to try flora flex because my local store no longer stocks this product for good reason.Gh Either partnered with miracle grow or was bought out by miracle grow either way it’s not cool and yeah I’m not gonna buy miracle grow-based products sorry nope too many people were poisoned by their heavy metals in the 50’s....

Maxibloom KISS
Best all in one nutrient for new and advanced growers alike! Forget those idiotic 10 part nutrient systems, this is all you need. Lots of calcium, magnesium, and sulfur for terpene production. GH doesn't advertise this, but this product is below detectable limits for arsenic and cadmium per third party testing conducted by the state of California. That is VERY RARE for bloom fertilizers. Forget that so called "organic" stuff that is LOADED with arsenic and cadmium-look up the CA or WA state fertilizer database and search for Earth Juice or Nectar for the Gods products. This is also lower in heavy metals than Jacks. Look up the Maxibloom KISS thread if you want to have a great indoor grow your FIRST TIME. Good luck!

GH = Happy Plants
I started using General Hydroponics products after doing weeks of research. I wasn't really sure what I should use and there are debates all over the internet about 2 part nutrients, ratios, etc. I started with the MaxiGrow first and BOOM! My plants are ALIVE. They are lush, they are green. I am enamored with their growth. This is my first year doing any kind of hydroponic set up and I have seen the LIGHT. If I were religious, I'd pray to my chile peppers.I bought this to follow suit - my tomatoes and peppers are starting to flower so I'm going to switch them over so they get what they need. Everything about MaxiBloom is what I've come to expect from General Hydroponics from my initial purchase - quality product that does what it says it's going to do. You don't have to guess here, people. In GH we trust.I know this seems a little over the top but I like not having the guess work: you follow the instructions, and your plants are happy. I don't even have an accurate measurement - I know my container holds 27 gallons full, and I don't full it full - I say, looks like 20 gallons to me, and add 20 teaspoons of nutrient. I know there's tools for measuring ABCs and XYZs but I just don't want to - my system is a little ghetto and so is my approach but my plants are happy.

All you need , seriously
So 3 years later and quite a few Amazon purchases later I can honestly say that compared to all the other snake oils out there I love this one. Look if you want to be a cool scientist guy or girl and mix 100 different formulas together to get simply plant food go for it. If you want to focus on growing anything from amazing pot to bomb peppers and tomatoes this is for you. It doesn’t break the bank, if you buy all 3 of them because there is one more not sold in the little pair then you’ll be fine. In hydro ive only had slight problems but that was my error and ph problems and I have a 55 gallon res. So not huge. Does leave a little like build up in the tank but it gets cleaned out when I flush the tanks anyways and it doesn’t seem to effect the ppm or ph. Use it in the garden as well on almost everything to some degree. Don’t be super aggressive with it if you haven’t used it. Know more about plants then npk and you’ll love it too. 3 years and I wouldn’t even think about changing to anything else

Not bad but watch out for acidity spike when you add it
This nutrient powder causes my nutrient solution to become highly acidic. I'm not sure of the chemical processes which are causing that or if there is anything the manufacturer can do to have the mix be more basic when mixed into water, but wow... I have to use a ton of hydroponic PH raising solution to balance the mix to 5.5 to 6PH. We're talking bright deep red when I test this stuff after adding it in. With liquid-based nutrients, it doesn't change PH that much... but this stuff does. So make sure to buy enough of the PH raising solution to go with this. You'll use maybe a cup per 8 gallons or more... from mixing in only 8 teaspoons of this stuff. Yikes.

So far so good.
Product arrived quickly and is well priced. Have been using this for the past 3 weeks and plants seem to be responding well.I recommend mixing the maxi bloom with warm water in mason jar and shaking for a good 5 minutes to fully dissolve, then dump it to your watering can and fill rest with water.

Great results for Canadian cannabis grow
This is good stuff for growing cannabis. I live in canada and have 4 plants currently growing in mid-bloom. I have only been using this, no other nutes. I have been using the recommended dose for my plants, I switched from Maxigro to Maxibloom when I first saw pistils, and overall they are growing incredibly healthy, no deficiency, no toxicity and the green of the leaves.. just perfect! Also, it seems like these 2 bags will last at least 2 year if I grow 4 plants each year!

Great for flowering
I use about half a tablespoon for 4L. I a dash of root farm PH up to get it to 6.0-6.5. Make sure everything is disolved too. I used one of those 4L jug and shake it around, leave it for a day. I watered with a small drink bottle and would use up to half around each plant. It's also really good for garden flowers. Even late season.
