I purchased this Amazon Choice garlic press that was advertised as being made of 100% premium 304 stainless steel. Unfortunately, much to my dismay and great disappointment the press is not made of stainless but is instead made of aluminum alloy, which is stated and confirmed on the package it arrived in. I find this false advertising very frustrating and misleading.

I was bummed at first, the press looked smaller than the one on line. After using it for about three months I am very happy with it. Very sturdy, 100% full stainless steel. I tested it with a magnet, 100% stainless is not magnetic. The hopper is large enough for 1 very large clove. It presses well and uses most of the garlic because of the press design. I cleans easily because the stainless is so smooth. I have extra large hands and really feel comfortable really squeezing the heck out of. Very strong.

This is advertised as stainless steel but the package clearly states it's not.It's Zinc and ABS (the plastic on the handle).Zinc is NOT Stainless steel. So people doing magnet tests are fooled also because it's not magnetic.

I prefer to use a product for its intended purpose repeatedly before handing out an opinion. In this instance, I have used this garlic press several times, enough to know it's well-made, works and cleans like a charm, and makes me happy as it's pretty effortless. As to longevity, I can't say, however, it feels like it was made well for the long haul (no planned obsolescence/early demise here).

Night and day difference compared to what I had. This garlic press does great job. Glad I purchased this.

Works like it should. Solid construction. Not perfect, but for $10, you're getting what you paid for and then some.SentWould I buy again? yes.Would I recomend? probably.

I have had many different garlic presses. This is by far the easiest to use and clean! Beach use it is round and not an oval shape even bulky cloves of garlic fit well.

Having a garlic press in a kitchen drawer is a staple for every home. Both my husband and I cook and this is an item that we both find ourselves gravitating to. My husband HATED the one we were using. It was probably 10 years old, hard to clean and ALWAYS had garlic particles in the holes of the press. Voila, we find this one and it comes with a hand rubber "roller" to help roll the skin right off the garlic as a bonus. We both LOVE this garlic press. Easy to clean. Easy to use. And the garlic presses out of it well. We even think the garlic is better and our dishes are better when using this press. Thank you!

Die Presse ist praktisch leicht zu reinigen und gut zu bedienen und richtig toll ist die Gummihülle zum putzen der Zehen.... Einfach in die Gummirolle stecken zweimal über den Tisch rollen und die Zehen sind perfekt gepult.

Eigentlich sehr gute Knoblauchpresse. Die schwarzen Plastikgriffe sind bereits locker gewesen und beim Gebrauch immer rausgefallen, so dass wir die ganz entfernt haben. Leider kann man die Knoblauchpresse nicht umklappen, so dass man die Reste etwas umständlich rausschaben muss. Aber: sehr viel robuster als die Pressen mit den Plastikzacken. Ich würde sie trotz der „Mängel“ wieder kaufen.

Die Presse funktioniert echt super und lässt sich auch perfekt reinigen (per Hand und mit Spülmaschine). Nach wenigen Tagen hat sich eines der schwarzen Plastikteile am Griff abgelöst und fällt immer wieder ab. Leider fiel es auch einmal in den Topf hinein, weswegen es leider zurückgeschickt werden muss.Ersatz ist auch nicht möglich, was ich bevorzugt hätte.Vielleicht liegt die Qualität auch daran, dass die Knoblauchpresse zum Prime-Day erworben wurde.

Es ist eine tolle, robuste Presse. Da sie keine Plastikteile enthält, kann man sie super in der Spülmaschine mitlaufen lassen..Auch funktioniert der mitgelieferte Knoblauchschäler überraschend gut 👍

Zur Knoblauch - Presse muss ich nichts sagen - robust, und macht das, was es soll. Aber die mitgelieferte schwarze gummimatte ist genial. Damit kann man - ohne dass die Hände riechen - den knoblauch problemlos schälen.
