A: The Grande Drama I purchased is not waterproof.  It washes off.

**Q: It is black correct?**
A: Yes, it is black.  It goes one nice and doesn't clump or flake.  I do like it a lot and ordered it again.

**Q: Is this mascara gluten free?**
A: Exactly Antonia. The mascara only goes on the lash not on the root of the lash and egg if it leaks the amount will microscopic. Considering how many pathogens consistently attack our eyes  I'm not sure I would worry about gluten.
