Very sturdy and cut well even at the tips. Absolutely the best scissors for cutting out tennis strings by a long shot. Would hate to be without a pair. Note that these scissors handle a large amount of torque and will require periodic adjustment.

No, not really. But I am convinced this random internet purchase made my wife love me just a little bit more.She HATED the KitchenAid scissors we've been using in our kitchen. I don't know why. They're nice scissors. They're even the cool red color she's fond of. She just loathes them, and the wild part is that she doesn't even really mention it. But you can see it in her eyes. The deep-seated displeasure. Rage, even.So I picked these up during one of my not horribly infrequent ADHD-fueled/Amazon-enabled "Choose-Yer-Own-Adventure"-style time dilation episodes. What? Don't worry about it, just be glad you have a "normal brain." But do buy these scissors, because holy beans do these make cutting anything a joy. Bags, boxes, zip-ties, netting, even that truly awful heat-sealed clear molded plastic clamshell packaging that demands three of its sides completely removed before you get to reach past the jagged razor-sharp edges for your batteries or thumb drive or whatever. Not a problem anymore. You've got titanium, and serrations, and spring assist. You're good.For good measure, maybe add two pair to your cart. Do not leave "The Good Scissors™" anywhere else in the house. You have been warned.

This is a fantastic tool in the garden . i've purchased two . unbeatable price but unfortunately the spring action breaks and cannot be replaced as its some kind of internal device, ill give this a 4 1/2 because all the other features are great . This is better used for cutting the heavier branches of of a primary plant but too big for fine trimming. If the spring breaks on my second one i would likely buy a third because of the price point.

I use for fishing purposes cutting spectra and gills of all my fish. Just ordered this second pair because they work great and so affordable. Don’t let the price fool you!

These scissors are great for heavy-duty jobs like blister packs, cardboard, etc. I love the spring assistance, comfortable handle, and plastic clip that holds the scissors closed.The best part about the clip is that it can be locked back into the handle during use. I have some other scissors with a similar clip (hint: orange clip), but the clip has no method to stay open, so gravity often makes it fall back down between the handles which interferes with the operation of the scissors.The only con is the "wire cutter notch". Just forget about this part, I can't imagine how it would work or why it was even put there. It does not interfere with normal operation of the scissors so I did not take off any stars. However if you are looking for something to cut wires then this product is not for you.

I've been buying this IDENTICAL product for MANY YEARS... and I just ordered 3 more... so clearly I like them with one GIANT exception... they don't last very long.

High quality tool that cuts pretty much anything from tissue paper to wire mesh with precision and control.

the handles throw the weight of the cutting motion forces away from where they are gripped, making it awkward to use, they want to squirrel out of your hand (design flaw) and more importantly, they don't cut worth a crud. I would say they don't even work as well as cheap dollar store scissors even though they of course do. Perhaps I received a bunk one, because some of the reviews I have seen on youtube have been from reputable, knowledgeable people. I am returning mine.

To start and get straight to the point lol, These snips are compact and comfortable in your hand, what's important in scissors and snips is the straightness and thickness of the blades, these are straight and very thick, no flex at all, they cut paper, card, plastic sheet, and with encouragement plastering corner beads, these really are heavy duty scissors and snips. They have a hidden spring in the nut and bolt and there's a lock mechanism on the end of the handle, people say "it gets in the way when using" but I found that you squeeze the handles together and it pops unlocked and then it can be slid into the rear of its handle and press to firmly seat it there out of the way, you will feel the click as it locks away. then simply use the little hook and pull out, squeeze the handles in the closed position and press the hook back into the other handle, feel the click as it locks and wallah, into the drawer or tool box and all sorted. I think these are on for £15 which I now feel are well worth it, but I saw a flash sale of less than a tenner and went for it, good move, I used them just today to trim some thick plastic, for spreaders, filling holes, cut through no problem. There's a wire cutter of which I only tried on stainless steel 1.7 mm cable and it wasn't perfect, tough stuff though, and they cut through but left a strand or two, not an issue for me as I didn't want them for that use, just an extreme test.These are good value for money and work very well and on the offer an awesome bargain.I wrote this review because I saw some reviews where people were having a problem using the lock and I think they hadn't realised it locks away. För priset tycker jag att detta är en bra plåtsax. Det är ett greppvänligt handtag och en bra fjäder funktion. Jag modifierade en hållare med en iris bländare till en gobo projektor och hållaren skulle minskas i breddmed 3 millimeter på varje sida för att passa min modell av optisk snoot. Då klippte jag i 1 mm tjock aluminium plåt och det gick hur bra som helst. Det blev att bra snitt och resten var enkelt att justera med fil.Detta är mitt först intryck och den här saxen kommer jag att ha stor nytta av.Fotograf Uffe

Básicamente es lo que se anuncia. Unas tijerotas con una de las cuchillas ligeramente dentada para agarrar bien cuando cortas. Lo compré para cortar malla metálica y van como cuchillo en mantequilla.El hecho de que tengan un resorte hace que la experiencia de corte sea más cómoda. No las he probado con chapa, pero a mi me da que cortarían chapa fina con facilidad.
