This is the first time I've ever spent over £100 on walking boots and I'm so glad I did!Comfortable straight out of the box, my Lowa Renegades didn't need any breaking in at all. The leather is supple and high quality, and the craftsmanship, comfort and finish is superb.I tested the waterproofing by walking through long, wet grass -- the ultimate test! The boots held up well, with the fleecy lining/insoles keeping my feet warm and dry. Bring on the snow!So far, I've probably walked approx 50/60 miles in them and had no issues whatsoever. No rubbing, no blisters, nothing.There's a very good reason why Lowa come so highly recommended by walkers/hikers, and now I know firsthand... or foot.

Amazon and Lowa should be completely ashamed of themselves for selling me a used boot. tired after a long days work, and looking forward to getting my hands on a pair of much needed winter boots, i came from work after 14 hours at work away from home and swiftly opened the packaging to see the boots i had purchased for £163.61.I put the laces on and cut the Superfeet Merino Wool inserts i had bought (£33.72) especially for these boots. however, before trying the shoes on, i examined the boots and i saw small pebbles lodged in the outsole. i then examined to see if there were other markers of having been worn, which appallingly turned out to be the case. the rubber on the front of the outsole had markers of being worn, the vamp had creases on it, and on close examining the mid sole had dirt on it.I am a hard working individual who works long hours who purchased these boots with my hard earned honest money anticipating that i would get a brand new product sold by an honest company. instead, i have paid £163.61 for USED BOOTS and cut a £33.72 insole having assumed Amazon and/or Lowa and any other entity involved in this selling me this boot were a reputable honest and honorable entities.Amazon and/or Lowa, is evidently not a reputable, honest and honorable company and obviously finds it acceptable to sell USED BOOTS to customers who work long hours trying to feed their loved ones during a global pandemic and times of unparalled uncertaintly. Amazon and/or Lowa should be ashamed of themselves for selling such a product to me and I demand i full refund for my time wasted, for the fact that I will need to take time out of my working day, potentially having to take a day off costing me and my company a further £165 minimum from daily earnings, I demand a full refund for being sold a USED product, for the fact that I am a further £33.72 under having cut the Merino Wool Superfeet Insole I had also ordered from Amazon anticipating that Amazon and or Lowa were an honorable company who sells boots which haven't been worn and are sold as advertised. After now 15 hours of being on my feet, and 16 hours of being awake, where I should have had a nice evening relaxing after a hard days work in the rain, having purchased shoes and related products amounting to £197.33, I am now at 2037 in the evening writing a complaint review addressed to a totally dishonorable, appalingly unashamed and flagrantly fraudulent and dishonest, shockingly abysmal terrible excuse of a companies that are Amazon and/or Lowa.I demand a refund of £163.61 for the USED BOOTS I was sold and a refund of £33.72 for the insoles I cut assuming that Amazon and/or Lowa, were honorable companies who didn't sell used boots to customers. I will also be relaying this information to a watchdog and be seeking legal advice in regards to the sale of this used product to me, and also the time, energy and emotional labour which has conseuquently been exerted by me following Amazon and/or Lowa and any entity involved in selling me this previously used boot.

Purchased these boots in May 2019. I’m a response police officer so mainly in a vehicle and don’t get to do much foot patrol these days. After about 2 months the soles started to wear badly and amazon exchanged the boots in September 2019. I’ve had the same issue with the replacements (however I got a few months extra wear out of them) it’s now July 2020 and the boots badly worn out after not much use.
