My 8-year old Omar started reading the book as soon as we received it. His face lit up and started laughing loud. He took this book to school so he reads there because he cannot stop, and sure enough he completed the whole book. Now he is asking for more of Planet Omar books! His review was: it is super funny and relatable (identity wise!). Now it is my turn to read the book and laugh :-)

I got this series for my class library, and they are a hit! They go through each book so much, there's always someone waiting to borrow it next.

We love this book. My daughter did not let it down until she finished and I have read it with boys before bed for couple of nights. We all could not wait to read next chapter. Since the book two is not out yet, boys wanted to read it again, so now dad is reading it to them before bed. Highly recommend!

My nephew devoured this book and can't wait for the next one.

My 9 year old loves this series!! The family, the school, the events perfect examples of life at home

i never feel complelled to write a book review but for this one I will type away. One reason, is to enccourage you parents out there to pick up this book and read with your yuong ones. You will all laugh young, old and elders. I read the book with my 5 and 7 years old. we all took part reading out loud with grandparents arround who enjoyed it with us. Second, it is a multi layered book with messages that children will get, think about and ask. Being a muslim brought up in the west and now a muslim parent in the west, finding this book was like finding a gym that speaks our language and understands our circumstances. In many parts of the book we would stop and one of us would say "that happened to me". It is very relatable. Third, and most importantly, it was light and fun enccouraging my kids to wait eagrly for Planet Omar reading time. We read it in 1 week but made it a family fun time where my mum brewed the coffee and brought out the cookies. I highly reccomend this book if you have children, interested to know how funnly normal muslim families can be or if you just want to laugh and don't mind the innocent silliness of children.

I think it's an interesting book because the problem is solved in the most unexpected time.

My almost 9 year old loved this book so much, she's forced me to purchase the series. It had her cackling the entire time and she finished it within a few hours.
