Can you hook up more speakers to this system besides the two that come with it?

There is a subwoofer out. The sub out allows you to focus more highs and mids from the two main speakers and push more of the low end to the sub. Hopefully that answers your question. Thanks for your inquiry.

How would this work for a comedy show in a hotel catering room 150-200 people

In my opinion this is the "sweet spot" for this system It is powerful enough and easy to operate. It is a little short on musical ability but mostly verbal is great.

Yes, two speaker cables come with this unit. I believe they're about 25' long. This is a GREAT unit!
