Here goes. These things are a wonderful idea. They really do work....if you can get your cat to leave them on and if you can even apply them without your cat running away or scratching you like crazy or both. I managed to get 8 of them on. My cat did not like any part of this process. You basically super glue them on. Even though I waited until she was asleep, it was still difficult because obviously you have to extend the nail out, waking the cat, and the cat starts to smell the familiar scent of the glue after a few rounds of this process and bolts as soon as she smells it! Once I finally got some on, the cat just ripped them back off. It's an endless battle I cannot win. I found them lying all over the place or sometimes they flew at me randomly whilst the cat bit them off. I will likely keep trying but I don't know if she will ever get used to them and leave them alone. It is a great idea and, in a perfect world where cats don't mind you extending their claws and super gluing plastic over them and expecting them to go on about their lives as normal, it would be a lifesaver. But no matter how well I feel I've mastered the application process, it isn't a perfect world, and my kitten just bites them right off and goes about clawing my flesh open. :(As for the seller and sale, I received these quick and in great condition, as described. They come with glue and instructions. They're very cute. You really can't reuse them. I tried to reuse them but once they get dried glue inside, they're too hard to form back over the nail again. They really get too stiff. You need them sort of bendable and pliable and the glue hardens them. I don't know if maybe you could wash them or soak them and then try to reuse them but I might give it a shot. Sharpening her nails is her favorite pastime. My mother doesn't want to buy any new furniture in fear of our kitty cat's excessive scratching. So, since I'm against declawing (although it is my sister's cat, she pretty much mind as well be mines, as I am the one who takes care of her), we decided to give these a try. I was quite fearful of putting them on her, because she is a feisty one. Wrapping up in a towel or someone else holding her down would not be an option (due to no one wanting to risk the danger, lol). The trick with her was to make it seem as if I was doing nothing at all, but playing with her paws and letting her be in control. A slow process, but it worked. She didn't even notice I had capped her claws, so there was no need to hold her for 5 minutes to let the adhesive set. She pretty much laid down and continued to rest after every application. The one issue I had is the adhesive. They fell off when she would begin scratching (she managed to discard 4-5 of them. Still looking for 2). I finally just bought Krazy glue to apply them and they seem to be holding.
