**Q: Is the threaded rod 12/20 thread?**
A: It comes with coarse and fine threads. One is 12-20, never measured the others as I have never seen a fine thread on a Stanley. Maybe Record???

**Q: There are hundreds of different kinds of plastic, ranging from flimsey and easily breakable to dense and tough.  Are these good plastic Handles?**
A: Yes, they're good, but they don't feel the same as wood. As long as you accept that I think you'll be happy. I've used them on "rough" planes that I tend to abuse and they hold up. For my nice planes I still only use wood for obvious reasons. The only thing I've found is that there may be a bit of a mold seam that needs to be shaved or sanded down.

**Q: Does it work for Stanley Bailey No.5 type 19?**
A: Hi yes I got 2 sets used one on my old Bayley / Stanley No 5 and seemed to fit fine.

**Q: Will this fit a Bailey No. 7?**
A: Yes. I bought this for my Bailey #7. Be aware that the knobs are plastic. I ordered from UK and shipping to the US took longer than expected.
