Dark walnut is almost black.** A: More black pigment is added to the extra dark walnut. This is used only for toning areas that need a deeper shade to blend into the entire piece. Mist them on from a height of 18” above the surface lightly until color is achieved **Q: What color would match hazelnut color on leather furniture** A: It would be difficult to provide an accurate color without seeing the leather furniture. Lacquer and poly do not go together very well. You could seal the poly with dewaxed shellac and then use the toner for better adhesion. But even that is not as good as using a tinted poly.
