Good speaker wire at a good price. Is it the best you can get? Of course not but if you need some decent heavy gauge speaker wire at a reasonable price I'd recommend it. It's flexible, the polarity is clearly marked and it's easy to work with. There were no breaks in the spool either. I don't know if I was just lucky in that regard or if the "breaks" that some others experienced had been addressed and corrected by the manufacturer. I'd buy it again.

HI, I am using it as we speak. It is great and works fantastic. It meets all my expectations. I use the wire to connect my speakers to my stereo for the backyard. Being that the wire is coated it is moisture resistant. I have enough wire so I can spread the speakers apart and they sound great. Without the wire this would not be possible outdoors. I will be hooking it also to my Ham/CB radio in the shack so I can broadcast in the backyard also.

I am so willing to let my husband battle the rafters and possible monster spiders rather than pay someone to do it, especially for the same product that I sneaked a peak to see what our local "professionals" were using! This is great speaker wire, which we used with the Amazon Bose speakers, to conquer to TV room. Yeah, baby! Moonstruck has never sounded so good! Come on, that's funny! Shh...and the money we saved on installation was so well spent on sandals...Hurray for me!

I knocked one star out only because my spool turned out to be a little less than 250 feet, more like 215 feet. That said, it was still enough to complete my project. The quality of the wire seems solid, and I honestly didn't have very high hopes with sound quality due to the length the signal has to travel. It works and the price is great. As an audiophile, it's probably not phenomenal, BUT this was used for an office project, and it's perfect for this purpose.

The speaker wire is of excellent quality and worked perfectly for my needs. The roll was a continuous spool of speaker wire. It had a clearly visible red stripe making it a breeze to keep the polarity correct. I would purchase this brand again.

Works great for running wire across the house. No issues.Update: I had to run about 80' across an attic for some speakers, and this roll was cut in the middle. Someone at the factory ended my spool in the middle and started a new spool on this unit (I had about a 150' length and a 100' length on this spool, instead of being a continuous roll). I was not a happy camper when I was in the attic and had to rerun wires up a wall and do it all over again. I will never buy from these people again. Feb 17, 2017.

Having worked with speaker wire on a number of ocasions, I would say that while the wire appears to conduct sound, it has an especially cheap and light feel. I had a very hard time working with it since the "wire" has the consistency of hair. There appear to be better products on the market- purchase those not this.

Used the wire for ceiling surround, rear surround and atmos ceiling speakers. The quality of the wire coating is thick and feels well protected for using them in walls and around duct work as I did. The wire strands themselves are very fine and soft in terms of strand strength. Once you twist the strands of wire together it seems to fix that up. I have not trying soldering the wire which I think the heat point based on thin strands would be low.
