We had a problem with out shower head being out of alignment. With a single regular washer once you tightened it till it stopped leaking it would sit at about a 45 degree angle. I tried using 2 washers but there was not enough structural rigidity and one of the washers inevitably collapsed as you tried to tighten it. Figured I would give this one a try under the idea that the screen would provide enough reinforcement that I could use 2 washers successfully. Well it worked exactly like I hoped it would. I have 2 washers and everything is lined up and leak free. Very easy and cheap fix for my problem.
