The folding and holding arm and mechanism work flawless.-veThe screws (although of SS) and nylon inserts supplied are for mounting on wall and mounting a wooden plank / board are TOO small i.e. half an inch. These mountings and fasteners CAN NOT hold the 50+ kg weight as claimed by the manufacturer. So you need to have spare sets available with you.Roughness on channel edges can cut your hands so be careful.I wanted to rate this item a complete FIVE stars but for these two glaring shortcomings.

Quality wise good but price is high, same was available at a nearby store at ~10% less price.

The foldable brackets are exactly as shown and described in the product description. Excellent quality, easy to install, and able to carry a lot of weight. I used this to extend my study table. I put a small book shelf on it and added some books, a study lamp and a small indoor potted-plant on the shelf. So it's sturdy enough to carry a lot of weight. The hinges to fold and open the brackets are easy to operate smoothly. I'm very happy with the product. It's worth the money I paid for it.

This is my second purchase of the product (Although a bigger one first time). As someone who has used the product for over a year, I can vouch for the fact that this product is very sturdy and an extremely useful one.It's certainly made in China and if you are someone who is more interested in the quality of the product, rather than where it comes from, this is the right choice for you. I had seen a review about not providing the screws, but in my case I got screws and pegs on both orders.Please follow the following steps to fix the stand so that it's you don't waste time and effort (In fact someone has already explained it in one of the reviews)1. Mark the position of the two screws of the base on the wall, drill holes and fix the wall plugs.2. Fix the lower screw of the base first (there are two screws at the base portion)3. Then fold the extension arm. You will find a hole in the extension arm in line with the upper screw of the base. Insert the screwdriver through this hole of the extension arm and tighten the upper screw of the base.4. Rest of the fixing as usual
