As l am disabled and often unwell l need various weights/types of dressing gowns. It is difficult to get what you like as well as being stylish. Some dressing gowns are just a compromise. This is not. It is lovely. There was a good choice of colours but as a nurse l tend to just go for navy blue as it is not too bright. It is a lovely colour with white piping so very stylish. It is very soft and comfortable to wear. As it is lightweight l would call it a summer weight dressing gown unless you use the central heating in winter.It looks just like the picture. However, l am only 5'2", and on the picture it looks ankle length but it is not that long on me. I also tend to always buy a bigger size as l do not like things gaping ( big boobies). Also, as a nurse, this is a perfect 'hospital' dressing gown. If you need to wear it in bed it is lovely. If you do know you need to go to hospital, buy 2! When my husband was ill in hospital he took my older ( by over 20+ yrs) gown, if l had known how long he would be in l would have bought 3 of these for him +1 for me. When you are ill, it is very important psychologically, to be able to still look quite nice.Washing is easy. I have a 'daily'/ refresh cycle, but any woolen / delicates /baby cycle is fine. There has been no colour loss or transfer to other items. No need to murder it with a mad spin cycle, which means just hang it on a hanger to dry, no ironing required ( l have not ironed anything since 1996). Otherwise, put it over a radiator and it will be fine.I am very happy with it, it came quickly, nicely packaged in a nice soft resealable soft plastic bag. In hospitals, this can be very important, due to the risk of infection/ cross infection. Patients property often falls out of their locker as soon as the locker door is opened so things end up on the floor. No matter how much floor cleaning is done, people have to walk over the floor. Easier to wipe down the bag than have to wash clothing. If you lose the bag, just use freezer bags ( also for other property).

Bought this to go into hospital. My main reason for choosing this was that it was described as being lightweight and soft which was just what I was looking for - something light and soft to be worn over a nightdress. Hospital wards can get really hot in the summer months, so I was not disappointed, as the wards had become so hot that patients were bringing in their own fans. Very comfortable to wear at night, and at any time.

I bought this as a dressing gown for summer. Very soft material gives cosy feeling. Doesn't fade color on washing.

Fed up with looking tubby in fleece dressing gowns! This , once ironed , is elegant. The white piping adds a classy look too. Lovely and long and folds over the front well. So glad I found this!

This would have been fine if they had included enough material to wrap properly around the body but as it is, it’s an extremely narrow fit and the sizes come up tiny. I am a 16 and bought the XL which is two sizes up. This should have been ample but there was barely two centimetres difference in circumference. I hated the way it gaped open around my breasts and thighs simply because it’s been cut 2D. Sitting down was even worse as it just wouldn’t close properly. The material isn’t great either and feels rather thin. It’s a real pity because I like the idea of a breathable cotton gown but I just can’t find a good one.

Lovely robe. I bought a couple of sizes bigger as I like robes to hug me and it's perfect. Just one recommendation for the manufacturer....for bigger sizes it could do with a longer belt.

I liked the look of this dressing gown on screen and hoped that the colour (sky blue) would be true to life. I was not disappointed. It's a lovely lightweight gown suitable for the summer/spring, good sized pockets for bits and bobs, with a decorative white piping around the gown. The fabric feels soft and washes very nicely on a 30 wash. I absolutely love it and it looks so stylish. I am a size 16 so ordered the XL which is a teeny bit loose (great for thicker winter pj's). The length is also generous reaching to mid calf (I am 5.8"). All in all a great purchase and the price is also very reasonable.

This would have been an ok dressing gown if it had enough fabric to wrap round your body as it is supposed to. I'm 5.3" and a size 10--12 and ordered it in a medium, yet the sleeves barely reached my wrists, the hem came down to my calves and the material was so sparing that as soon as I walked or sat down the robe fell open exposing everything! In short it looks nice if you are standing up and not moving. I wanted a discreet robe I could slip on quickly if I needed to answer the door or take the rubbish out at night, and this thing wasn't going to serve so I returned it for a refund.
