ion Titanium Pro Curling Iron, 11/2 Inch, Heats up to 450°F, Maximum Curl Retention, Dual Voltage

This is the second time I've bought this curling iron. It curls well and leaves a professional look in addition to being easy to use. My last one lasted over ten years of daily use. It gets hot; really hot so be careful with this iron. I read some of the reviews and noted that the automatic shut-off can go haywire. I can attest that this is true because my last Ion died from that exact thing. It got to where it would shut off every time I'd put it down, but I did get my money out of it before that happened. Maybe Ion needs to look into that function. Still, I'd rather have that function than not because this iron gets so hot it can burn your house down if you accidently leave it on. With those ideas in mind, I did rebuy it because I believe it is overall a good and long-lasting product. The price is good for what you get. It's a professional iron.

This is a very nice curling iron, and the price can't be beat! I have had multiple brand curling irons. My criteria is a really hot temp, but also adjustable. This curing iron has a nice barrel, a good strong clamp which is super important to me. I am really happy with the quality and the extra silicone on areas that could be very hot making it more protective from burning. This is an easy to use curling iron. I have medium to shortish naturally curly hair so my use of a curling iron is for curling my hair which it works great for but also straitening, all in one movement. I use a curling iron to smooth my hair and I think for me this is a really important solution and works so well. This is a larger handle and a regular size barrel. I can highly recommend this curling iron!

This thing get HOT! And thats what I was looking for! The barrel size is Perfect. People always think i got a professional blowout done. It heats up in SECONDS and I love that! I appreciate the stand and the squirrel cord. My favorite!

Heats up fast and curls very nicely, love that it has a temperature control as I have fine hair.

LOVE IT! Make sure you adjust the heat to your hair liking because it will definitely burn your bundles if it’s not real and authentic

Highly satisfied with it. Used to buy Hot Tools brand gold curling irons but I like this so much better. For my short hair I find the shorter barrel fits better. Also the texture of the handle is not as slippery. It heats up fast to the indicated temperature. I wish it would come in narrower than 3/4” barrel too.

My old curling iron threw a spring so I decided I wanted a really good one. I ordered 3 different curling irons and each one I returned. Not hot enough, pulled my hair etc. so I decided to by my old curling iron. The ion and I love it as much as the old one. Has 4 heat settings, goes up to 450. Has auto shut off. My hair does not get pulled the barrel is smooth . It’s great for curling and I use it to straighten as well.

While I liked this in the beginning, it's not holding up to what I had hoped over time. The temps above 350 FRIED my hair, so keep the temp low. At 6 months the spring had already loosened to the point of being difficult to keep my hair in it. Now at 1 year the spring broke! It's pretty heavy, so if you have arm mobility issues, this is NOT the curling iron for you. I purchased a separate travel iron because this one is too bulky and heavy to take along. If you purchase this iron, you might as well buy these springs to go with it. You'll need them! At least this iron has replaceable springs. We found a fix. Update March 2026...AND now the curling iron quit working all together. Just one year. The cheap Walmart curling irons outlast this one.

I had an automatic turn version of this same brand for many years. The spring on it finally broke. I tried to find the same one but don’t think they make it anymore as I wasn’t able to find it again. I tried other irons but nothing held the curl as good so I decided to purchase this manual spin. I do miss the auto rotation of the older model as with thick long hair it just made the task easier. The curl and hold is amazing though. I haven’t found any other brand that performs so well and holds the curl as long as this one does. I have tried many different brands in many price points. This one is the best all around and I found the price to be reasonable. The cord is also extra long which is handy and it heats up very fast. Yes I would buy again and would absolutely recommend.

My wife absolutely loves this product and was happy I bought it for her.
