He was looking for undershirts that would be a slim fit to wear under dress shirts and these are perfect. They have a really nice amount of stretch and they are long enough for him to tuck in (size XL). We just ordered 2 more packs of three after ordering and returning 3-4 other brands that were either too short, loose fitting or both. When ordering big/tall shirts they tend to also run big in the body and sleeves which he doesn't need. While these aren't as long as normal big/tall shirts they work because they are a bit longer than regular and they have stretch. I would not wear it as a shirt but they are great undershirts! Very soft and cool, perfect under shirt under a golf shirt in the summer heat in the Southern US. I prefer these shirts a little tighter. He sounds skinny, so a medium should work, but if you want a looser fit for him, go with a large. Size M 2020-4-11 From RxNotec, 5' 11" tall, 183 lbs They are stretchy. I'm 5' 11" 183 lbs and have mediums. Wish I would have ordered small. Medium will do. I am a hockey player still so I am athletic build 41R suit coat. Review: Great undershirt - Perfect for undershirt when in white color. A little flimsy to be worn otherwise Review: Nice, but watch the sizing - No idea about the long-term durability, but these undershirts feel great when new. HOWEVER, the sizing is way off. I've always worn a medium, but these were huge on me. I didn't feel right returning them since they have been worn and washed. I bought another set in a small and they fit great. I'm 5'7 and 150 pounds, so I'm not sure who came up with the sizing, but if you order a size down, you should be good.
