SLS3 Womens Running Skirt with Shorts | Short Athletic Tennis Skort | Golf Skirts with Pockets - Slim Athletic Fit

As an almost daily wearer of athletic skorts for nearly ten years, I tend to be loyal to just a few go-to brands, but am always looking for the new “It” brand, so I gave this a try. Overall, this is a pretty decent skort for the price. I even used it as a swim skort at the beach. . . Great alternative to the boring black or navy swim skirts!PROSThe skirt material is lightweight and flattering. The shorties are a nice, versatile length, fit well, and the grippers around the bottom of the legs are helpful without being too constructive. I am 5’2”: This skort is a bit shorter than my usual skirts that I wear around town, but is perfect for hot summer days and at the beach...short, but not overly revealing in that setting.CONSThis skirt is, however, just a couple tweaks from perfection. With the following tweaks, I think this brand could be the next “It” skort brand:1. There needs to be a bit more fabric and overlap of the fabric on the sides of the skirt. As is, the skirt does have a little gap on the sides, revealing the shorties. While this is fine, it does have a bit of a tendency to resemble more of a loin cloth than a skirt/skort. Additional fabric and overlap of the fabric on the sides of the skirt would correct this.2. The length of the skirt in the back needs to be at least an inch longer. As is, the back of the skirt looks slightly higher than the front when worn. A slightly longer skirt back is far more flattering and desirable than the appearance of a longer skirt front when actually worn.It is for these two reasons I would deduct 1 1/2 stars, making my true rating a 3.5. With the two tweaks above, this skort would easily be a five star product. Also, it would be great to see this skirt in a capri option. :-)

I love this running skirt so much that I quickly purchased in pink too!My running is ramping up for my first full marathon this fall and I needed to find comfortable attire.This skirt is super lightweight, functional and fits perfectly.I've tried skirts from several big name running skirt lines and they were never quite right. I always had problems with the shorties rubbing or riding up. Always! I tried different inseams and with/without silicone and they never worked for me.I was just about to give up on skirts until I tried this one. The shorties don't rub or ride up!! The skirt has a nice drawstring at waist for adjustability and the pocket on the left leg is great! I put my phone in there and have not worried about it falling out. My gu goes in the pocket on low back.The only "complaint" I have is that there is not another pocket on right leg. Seemed like a simple thing to do - so I sewed one on. Now I put a small water bottle on that side and am good for a long run.Try this skirt! It's twice as nice at half the cost 😊

I ordered a medium since I wear medium in just about all of my running shorts, including compression shorts. I am 5'6", 140 pounds, sort of straight figured (not heavy in any spot, just a boyish figure, not a lot of difference between my waist and hops.). This felt a little loose in the shorts part, and a wee large on the waist. Fortunately, it did not ride or creep into those places where you need to discretely pull it out, but it did feel weird not fitting the way I am used to having snug running undies fit.It is cute as all get-out, and it got a lot of compliments.I thought that since I have never worn a skirt, the flapping would bother me, but I didn't notice it at all. The pocket is ok, but I did not feel secure with my phone (samsung s6) in it, as I thought it would slip out. I did carry some gels in in. Maybe the pocket would have felt more secure if the shorts fit tighter. However, I definitely think the pocket should be deeper, it is just too small.I would recommend this if you are considering it, but, maybe size down?

I am pleasantly surprised by the performance of the skort. This is the first “non-Lulu” skort I can comfortably wear on the tennis court. Even without the silicon leg grippers, the shorts stayed perfectly in place. Not one time in three hours of play today did I have to pull down the shorts. I even used the little pocket for my extra ball instead of tucking under the shorts. I have a muscular/athletic build and feel the skort is true to size. I plan on ordering another one.

I run every day 5k or 10k and running skirt is awesome for that.It's very light and comfortable My phone Note 9 fits in the side packet perfect..

I run in this skort. It has tight fitting shorts under it that stay where they land on you. No thigh rubbing. I hove the colors. Fit is great, true to size.

Bought this for my daughter, who runs a lot. She didn't like the way the skirt flapped so we tacked it down lower, problem solved, she wears it all the time.

very good quality. Fits well. i want to use it for golf. Just a bit too short. Please make this on a slight longer version

Love, love, love! Technical material so you stay dry, drawstring to tighten around waist if needed. Skirt is lower at back and doesn’t flap between your legs. Very well made, obv by a runner!

Not suitable for golf as there were no pockets

Really like this skort. I wear it for tennis and have had some really nice comments. It's comfortable and good quality. Fit is as expected.

Excellent for running in. Just what I wanted in the warmer weather.
