Perfect for my Dad's aging eyes---or, anyone else to see this clock from a distance
I bought this clock for my father who has vision issues, thus he has trouble seeing the numbers on a clock. The numbers on this clock are perfect for him, nice and large, while the Blue lighting of the numerals show up well and don't have any glare. He loves it and says that he can read it much easier than the last clock he had been using. He likes to be able to see it from his recliner, lol, so I would say he is about 10 feet from the clock, and has no problem seeing it---for reference, he is 84yo, with particularly poor vision in his left eye, and this clock is great. Anyone with better or regular vision would have no trouble seeing the numbers.

Readable at night from across the room! Excellent!
Dimmable light, giant letters, easy setup, what's not to love? If you want to know what time it is at a glance, whether day or night, this clock is for you!

outstanding product, really does the job!!
a couple of years ago i purchased what i thought was a large clock like this for my living room. couldn't read the small clocks on the tv/dvr/cable box. best thing i ever did. that product literally wore out. bits of lite ultimately went dark, clock was losing a bunch of time and just not acceptable, and unreadable during the day, so i purchased this clock. knew it was larger, but it is huge! twice the size/brightness/ and viewing ability of the old one. numerals must be 4", are big, bold and can easily be read from clear across the room. great nite light as well. have it cranked up to max on the brightness wheel and i am really wondering why i waited to purchase this product.

What a battery powered digital alarm clock should be
This is a solid clock that works well, is easy to read, uses AA batteries and therefore is immune to power failures, and is great for travel, camping, whatever. The "snooze" button is touch sensitive which is great when fumbling around half asleep. The alarm noise starts out gentle and increases, so it's not irritating. The alarm noise is sort of "whispery" in tone, so also not irritating. It is plenty loud to wake me up. Battery life is good, I can't give a number since I've only had it a few weeks, but I was concerned there might be an issue there, but there isn't. It's lasted longer than I expected with no sign of dimming. The clock is easy to set, though you do have to set it in the light so you can read the labels on the buttons on the back. You can do alarm on/off by feel, but not time setting. It's a great little easily readable auto-dimming digital alarm. The auto-dimming does a great job IMHO, but it can be turned off and the brightness adjusted manually if you prefer that. Nice clock, clean appearance, good function.

Big bright display
Nice, big, and bright numerals. Included is a USB power cable, but no 5-volt adapter. Instructions on where to plug in the cable to power the clock are absent. Plug into one of the accessory USB ports that appears to be an output. My only complaint is that the base of the clock is narrow, and it was extremely easy to tip over. I had to make a wider base plate from some scrap plexiglass and then attach it with double-stick tape. It is now OK.

Large Numbers Clock
I bought this large number clock for my 87 yo mom. She absolutely loves it! She can see it clearly from across the room. My husband liked it so much I bought him one too. He can also see it from across the room. Neither of them have room on their nightstands for anything else and this clock is a bit wide (side to side) hence placing them across the room. It’s very easy to set the time. The numbers are blue and very large. The price is very reasonable. So far they are both very pleased!

DREAMSKY DIGITAL ALARM CLOCK -- MODEL DS306
I had originally ordered the smaller version of this (DS312), and was underwhelmed with its size, but overwhelmed with its features. Though I am keeping and using the smaller one, I ordered the larger one for a spare. See the comparison picture. This one is 8-1/2" wide X 1-1/2" deep, and the digital read-out is 3" high with a robust bright blue that really stands out and I can see it without my glasses. The box, instructions and warranty card lend itself to the whole presentation, as this seems like a nice quality clock. The approach to the technology behind it is fairly simple compared to some. There are 4 buttons on the back. Because it's larger, it differs from its little brother, in that all the buttons are not the same size. In this one, the two middle adjustment buttons are smaller, I guess to differentiate them from the other two buttons. The second from the left, is the 12/24 HR button, which toggles back and forth from standard to 24-hour military time. When it is on the standard setting, after 12 Noon, it will display a 1/4" high "PM" in the upper left corner of the display on front. The second from the right, is the AL ON/OFF button and when you push it to engage the alarm, in the middle at the bottom, a "bell" icon will be displayed. When the alarm sounds, you can snooze it by touching the sensor at the top, and the bell icon will blink, and the it will go off again in 9 minutes. You can turn it off by pressing ANY of the four buttons in the back. Absolutely awesome! That beats trying to find just the right button in the dark. And, the cherry on top of the cake, is when you turn it off, it is automatically set for the next day. It doesn't get any better than that. The alarm will sound for only two minutes then stop if no action is taken. If the alarm is engaged, you press this button to disengage it, and the bell icon on the front disappears. The first, on the left, is the Time Set button. You long press it once to change the hour, using the 2nd button (12/24 HR) to move the time forward, and the 3rd button (AL ON/OFF) to move the time backward; the press it again to set the minutes. Then press it again to lock it in, and leave that mode. The first, on the right, is the ALARM SET button. If you short press it, it gives you the time the alarm is set for. You long press it once to change the hour, using the 2nd button (12/24 HR) to move the time forward, and the 3rd button (AL ON/OFF) to move the time backward; the press it again to set the minutes. Then press it again to lock it in, and leave that mode. To the left of the first button, is a wheel to adjust the volume (30 dB to 90 dB) of the alarm. It is a nice loud alarm. To the right of the last button is a wheel to adjust the level (0% to 100%) of illumination on the digital readout. It is very bright, but not enough to be distracting, or possibly keep you awake. On the back, there are two USB ports. One for the cord to power the unit, and the other to charge your cell phone. There is also a back-up battery compartment, which holds two AAA batteries. During a power outage, they will only save your time and alarm settings, the time will not be displayed, the alarm will not sound. At the bottom are four non-skid feet. This IS the one you're looking for. It really rocks. If you're looking for a more substantial sized, well-made clock, this is pretty much the perfect alarm clock. It's easy to set, easy to snooze, and easy to reset for the next day. UPDATE (DEC 2023): The initial smaller version of this clock lasted for 3 years; and then I began using the larger version. Because I was so impressed with the operation and durability of this clock, I had ordered another to keep as a spare. Yep, it's that good. UPDATE to the UPDATE (JAN 2024): The replacement lasted less than a month before it started acting up- specifically, buttons are not responding when they're touched. Luckily I ordered a replacement last month. So, shoppers, it looks as though the lifespan of these units are about 3 years, till the internal electronics begin checking out. Which means, instead of buying 2 at a time, buy just 1. Then, after about 2-3/4 years in, put it on your "To-Do" list to buy another. I still like the clock, and I'm going to continue to use it. BTW I would suggest purchasing a longer USB cord, because the one they provide is not long enough. At least for me, snaking it from the outlet, around the bed, to the clock, and situating it on my nightstand, was a bit challenging.

Very good for sight-impaired people.
Although this item had been noted as lost in transit, I received it 2 days after the delivery date. The product is as promised. The large numbers are a great help to my husband who is losing his sight. This is the only clock that he can actually "read" from bed and he is extremely happy with it. I definitely recommend this clock for sight-impaired people, especially the black background with white numbers.

Very bright
* Brilliantly bright * large and well spaced numbers * would be difficult for visual impaired person to set time as the buttons are on the back. * You will need to buy a 3 pin plug attachment if you don’t have a USB port next to your bed ( I brought a phone charger one, it works great) * cable isn’t very long.
