I got busy after receiving the part, and didn't install it for just over 1 month.It fit perfect. (Had to swap out a small mounting bracket for wire harness, but that was simple). Took ~1.5 hrs for me to install. Then turned the key and it didn't work. Spent 30-45 minutes checking every connection and trying to trouble shoot. Finally removed it and reinstalled the old starter and the car cranked right up. (Was replacing b/c I get frequent slow starts, and about 2 or 3 failed starts per month.) Took the new starter into Advanced Auto and had them test it. The drive pinion only came out halfway, and spun very slow. The store said it was faulty, as it was drawing 40V and still not fully functioning. Pinion should have come all the way out and spun way faster.Unfortunately, the return window closed 5 days ago. :(The manufacturer's info says there is a 2 year warranty for workmanship, so I'm going to try contacting them next. If things get worked out, I'll come back and update this rating, but at this point I'm quite annoyed with all the wasted time.

After 173,000 miles the starter in my 2002 Acura TLs died. Worked every time I needed it, then nothing but a click. I looked around for a rebuilt thinking a new starter would be too expensive. I found this on Amazon - free one day shipping. It is an exact match for my car and works perfectly. It has been a few days since the install. Less expensive than a rebuilt and much less expensive than a new one from a local auto parts store. Everything about the appearance and function is quality. Looking for a video with steps for remove and replace on YouTube one of the video makers said that his rebuild unit only lasted 1.5 years. That was a big reason to consider a new starter.

Perfect match for my Acura TL and not modifications were required. Product was delivered promptly and it was very well packaged. Also included were instructions, and a test report on the starter. In my case, the battery and bracket had to be removed. After that, you all all the room you need. Very easy install. I will report back later, but I have confidence this starter was a good purchase.

Starter installed perfectly on 2004 Honda Pilot. All connectors and brackets matched the original perfectly. Took about 40 minutes to remove and reinstall the battery tray that had to be removed to reach the starter. Took less than 20 minutes to swap out the started itself. Job completed for under $100 and in about 1 hour saving me close to $500 if I had taken it to the dealer. Check YouTube for instructional videos. This is a very easy repair to do.

a little over 2yrs on since I DIY installed this into my ‘09 Acura TL... going strong. no problems. very pleased with quality and value.

Installed into 2006 Honda Odyssey just like original, in terms of fit. Has been in use for 4 months now and operating fine.The install was made difficult because of corroded fasteners holding the battery tray to the chassis, but that is not the fault of the starter. Just a FYI for vans that are exposed to winter and salt.

Wife's starter went out. No clicking or anything when trying to start. Battery was about a year old so did not suspect that. Voltage test showed the battery as still good. Arrived quickly and was packaged well. Quick install and instead of disconnecting the clip used for wires running next to the starter I just unscrewed the bolt that holds the clip in on the starter and swapped them. Much less than local stores for refurbed ones. Been a few weeks now and no issues.

Brand new starter, pretty easy to install and works as expected. I will update review if I experience any issues in the near future.
