I love this. Our sink is on an island and the disposal switch is a toggle switch under the sink behind a cabinet door. I installed this air switch on the front of the cover panel in front of the sink and it is so much easier to use. Super easy to install and works great. Reduces any concern turning on disposal with wet hands since it's an air switch. Definitely recommend.

This product is perfect! We recently remodeled out kitchen, including new countops and sink, so we decided to get one of these. It looks great and matches out brushed stainless steel faucet, it was super easy to install, and it works great! No problems at all. And the price was perfect! We've seen these at our local home repair stores for $40-50 and more! I'd highly recommend this item!

Works just as expected. The price of this entire kit is less than what the disposal OEM charges just for the button dress-up kit that they offer for their air switch kit. It comes with a self-adhesive hanger that makes for a no-holes mounting under the sink, if that is preferred. Although not really needed, the instruction sheet is very easy to read and follow. This is a great value, assuming that it holds up to use, but for that, only time will tell.

Great product for the money. Installation was as expected and relatively simple for anyone who is comfortable with home projects. The hardest part of the job was drilling the hole in our quartz countertop, but that too went as expected, maybe even a bit easier than expected. Since our garbage disposal had an existing switch inside the under sink cabinet, I had to remove the switch and wire nut the existing wires together to ensure the existing if disposal outlet was always on, but that was manageable as well.

The switch is attractive, works well, and is a decent value (more on this later). The only issue I have is with the installation. The manual states that you should drill a 1.25" hole - which I did - using a high-quality hole saw. Unfortunately there is a ring of plastic just above the threads that is probably 1 5/16th". This makes the switch sit above the counter, rather than flush. A simple solution is to take a half round file and remove some material around the hole which will allow the switch to sit flush. Fortunately, I drilled the hole far enough away from the wall to be able to get the file in, but it was still awkward. If someone drills too close to the wall, that might be impossible. So what should have been a three-minute installation turned into a longer job, because I had to run to the hardware store and buy a $9 file. Not a huge deal, but the extra $9 and wasted time made this switch less of a value than others might be. It's still a better deal than paying $80 for the In-Sink-Erator branded switch for $80.

This is probably one of the best purchases I've ever made on Amazon. 6 stars in my book! I cant say enough about this product. I feel that I've made the kitchen 1000% safer by installing this switch. No more wall switch and flinching just before flipping it! I mounted it in conjunction with a 20 amp GCFI under the sink and mounted the air operated switch using the hole for the soap dispenser. I moved the soap dispenser to the other side since I though this would be a more clean (no pun intended), convenient set-up. I just wish I would have found this switch earlier. Highly, highly recommend!
