Any chance this plate will work on the fn 509 tactical factory cut slide?

HIGHLY recommend not purchasing this for the FN 509 Tac. Just received this and the only way it will work with the 509 is by NOT having the RMR (506) MRD insert. You technically can mount it without it, but you’ll have a gap where the MRD insert is supposed to go making your 509 look sloppy.

I need #4-40 screws for my rmr to be mounted, I talked it that this will not work for me? Where can I get some with the #4-440 screws?

The screws in this kit are # 6-32. But the sealing plates are generic. I believe you can find it on Amazon. Search for #4-40 x 1/4" Flat Head Socket Cap Screws, generally use 1/4 or 5/16 length for cut slide

It's a sealing plate for Trijicon rmr. If you want to mount a red dot on your sig, you also need an adapter plate that is compatible with the sig
