Reel has done well. The slide stop did break off of the arrow after 40-50 shots, but I shoot off of the rip rap rocks near spillways...so rough conditions. Anyway, you don’t want an arrow with a slide for a spin cast reel. It is better to tie it off through the hole on the back of the arrow as a safety precaution to keep you from shooting without pressing the button on the reel. Which could destroy your reel. Do yourself a favor and take the slide and slide stop off of the arrow when you get it. I like the recurve for quick shots, and I can draw it back further for longer or deeper shots. My wife even likes the bow, she just gets worn out on it after 60-70 shots because of the draw weight.
