is the replacement supposed to be loose, because mine is a little loose and could twist around very easy. orginal one i bought was very tight?

Im not sure if it's meant to be loose or tight. I would bet that as long as the cartridge is secured to the mouth piece that it should still function properly. So far i have swapped out 2 on mine, both "clicked" to the mouth piece and the "cover" clicked together as well. Not sure if that helps.

Within one week of daily use the filter is sticky with resin and raised so that when blowing smoke in, I get resin on my lips. Any tips?

Personally I just used a sewing pin to pin down the raised part. Or with a paper towel wet with some rubbing alcohol and wipe away the resin.
