DIY Baby Handprint Ornament Kit, No Mess Keepsake, White

This ornament is really cute! Some people might complain that the clear plastic that protects the photo and hand/footprint should be glass but I like that it is plastic! It will last years to come and I don’t have to worry about it breaking or shattering. The one thing I would suggest is that the red paper inside be a little better quality. The paint made the thin paper ripple a little bit but it should be fine once it gets inserted into the ornament. This comes with 2 pieces of paper so if you use front and back you have 4 tries to get the perfect print. Also there is more than enough paint to try several times. The paint washed off my baby’s toes very easily. There is no paint brush included but I used one we had on hand to apply the paint to his foot. If not the instructions show to smear it into the hand and that looks to be way too messy. Overall great purchase and I’m happy that I bought it.

I bought two. The first I didn't knead long enough, so there were some air bubbles. The second came out fantastic! I definitely recommend! I plan to buy more.

I’ve used this product for 2 years in a row for Christmas ornaments and have not been disappointed! Tips: make sure the dough is thoroughly kneaded so there aren’t air holes. Also, I used an actual rolling pin to flatten it instead of the provided one. I used a wet paper towel on my child’s hand/foot so it was slightly damp before pressing into the dough. Make sure you put a good amount of pressure so the indentation is visible, it’s possible it flattens out some but not a ton if you do the right pressure. I used a butter knife to cut out the hand/foot prints after making the indentations then kneading the excess to make more. The handprints (5 months old at the time) took 2 boxes to make 7 hands and 2 paws, and the footprints (1.5 yo) took 3 boxes for 5.5 prints.

Don't have a picture but came as described and looked accurate, gave as a gift. No complaints so must have been useful.

Very disappointed in the product. The “foam” texture is flimsy and did not hold my infants prints. The print ended up almost invisible despite following instructions closely. Cheap quality overall. I’m bummed I purchased multiple to use as Christmas gifts for family and now need to go back to the drawing board. Money wasted.

This was super easy to use, the material wasn't too thick and was easy to mold and work with. It took about 4 days to fully dry. It seems durable and thick enough that it wont break or crack. It was a fun Christmas craft and made a cute ornament for years to come. The dough is white and we decided to add red paint to make the hand print stand out more. Love this keep sake. We choose not to use the round mold and free handed it as we like the look better than perfect circle.

You get what you pay for. It’s basically cloud foam. Super light weight, easy to reshape if you mess up. Not sticky but is soft. Cheap quality but is cute & functional once you’re done

I am very much a sentimental person and really enjoyed doing this. I do recommend doing this when baby is sleeping, or younger. My at the time 6 month old did NOT want us to use his hand and we had to do the impression 4 times because he kept scrunching it into a mess. It did take a while to roll out and keep it thick enough to make an impression, I just kept cutting out the circle and taking the scraps in the middle and rolling it back out to try and get it as thick as possible

This is perfect! Great quality and the packaging will protect it for each year. (I added the ribbon on the milk jug). I wish it had come with a reindeer bowl, but I found a small red glass one at Dollarama to put with it. I also see supply & demand has caused the price to increase. I purchased mine less than two weeks ago and only paid $19 and change. It is very cute though.

DO NOT BUY THIS!!! What a waste of $20!!!! We got the product and it was all dried out, couldn’t even roll it out or take the imprint. Save your money.

This is a cute idea, however you have to push the baby’s hand quite forcefully into the mould in order to get a clear hand print. If you don’t then it doesn’t turn out too great.

Handhabung einfach.Leider sieht das Ergebnis nicht besonders schön aus ehr billig.Viel zu teuer! Ist einfach nur eine Gummi/Schaumstoffmasse die fest wird,welche an der Wand total wellig hängt.Würde ich am liebsten zurück schicken!

I bought several of these kits as Christmas presents for family and they loved them! It was really easy to create the mould (we used a glass to get the right shape), although it took a few attempts to get a good footprint with a wriggling baby! The only negative is that they did take a few days to completely dry so need to be done in advance.
