MIDWEST Special Hardness Aviation Snip - Left Cut Offset Stainless Steel Cutting Shears, Made in the USA - MWT-SS6510L

I already had a set of inexpensive left, right and center tin snips. None of them did the job of snipping through the front and back strips of the gutter guards that I was installing. Snipping the screening was fine but the thicker front and back strips couldn't really be cut. Unfortunately, this Midwest Special Hardness Aviation Snip also couldn't cut the gutter guard front and back strips. This Midwest snip is beefier and built better than my inexpensive snips but I guess that it can't work magic with my gutter guards. I have to use Dremel drill cutting disks to cut the gutter guard front and back strips. So I will give the Midwest snip five stars just because it is beefier and nicer than my inexpensive snips.

Career roofer, old skool historic metal fabrication. Mid west is the one and only for people who know what they’re doing. I’ve had pairs last 8 years, then I lost them. Never once had any break or stop cutting perfectly. Ask an old foreman, he’ll pull them out of his tool belt and tell you what year he bought them.

The build quality is excellent and the handle has a good grip. It cut through sheet metals easily and with low effort. I used it to cut plenum boxes for HVAC , i have used many but so far this the one i liked the most.

25 years as a fabricator, Midwest is the Only snips I will ever use.

If you aren’t using these you’re wrong.

Excelentes tijeras muy cómodas de usar tanto para cortes rectos como curvas hacia la izquierda siendo el usuario diestro, el corte es limpio y preciso y por supuesto ni rastro de olguras. Entonces por que no pongo cinco estrellas, pues porque contacte previamente con el vendedor pera preguntar por las tijeras modelo MWT-SS6510L que son las que anuncian y son especiales para metales duros como el acero inoxidable y en ningún momento me informaron que las que tenian ellos y me iban a mandar eran el modelo MWT-6510L que no son malas ni mucho menos pero no son las que yo pedí.

Work like a charm use those for over 20 they usually last between 6 months to 2 years depending on the gage you cut aluminum or stainless steel

These snips are amazing! normally I used the straight cut, but this model allows me to do the same and even much more easily and comfortably, my co-workers are left watching with curiosity, it is also very easy to cut thick material, plus the brand and the amount of reviews inspires me with great confidence, I see that they were not wrong.....those are for right hand cut.
