I've had this for 3 years and it's still in good shape!
I bought this maze three years ago for my classroom and it has withstood the test of time. My students enjoy playing with it in their free time and it is a good quiet activity. The plastic cover is durable and the wood is nice and smooth. I teach Special Education and it can also be a good tool for teaching how to take turns or wait your turn, etc.

poor quality wood
The maze itself is fine and if you've got a kid that likes puzzles and mazes they are likely to enjoy this. If you don't have a kid that likes these things, they probably will be bored with this, its really an individual kind of thing. My problem is with the quality of the wood, or at least of quality control. There are several gouges in the wood of mine, within the maze and even one 'chip' hanging half off, all of this underneath the cover where I can't get to it. So for that, I give it a lower rating. When I choose the extra expense of wood over plastic part of the reason is because its usually better quality.

Well made and a fair amount of fun
Fun to keep in the car for restless little ones. Appeals to the type of child who enjoys puzzles and mazes. Good for ages 7 to 11.

best of the mazes available
For my almost 3 year old, I wanted a toy that would last for a while. This is perfect because she can use it now and for the next year or two at least. After that, it is always a loved toy whoever plays with it.I found the others available to be too simple and limited in their use.Don't be fooled by the colors on the maze. This is a solid product and is exceptional in every way. I haven't tried it while driving in the car, but I will see if it's good for long rides as well while in the carseat. At home otherwise, it's perfect to play with mommy or another child alongside (two wands)

My maze hound likes it
Great wood quality...seems that it will stand the test of time. My 3 year old loves doing mazes on paper so I thought he might like this. He does like it quite a bit, and likes that he can be one color and I can be another and we can "race" to get the balls in the circle. The only minor irritant is that the magnet pen can move 2 or 3 balls at once so they sometimes get stuck together, but with a little shaking it's fixed.

Great simple toy!
My boys love this toy! It's nice to have a simple toy the doesn't require batteries or have complicated rules. It's also durable, they often stand on it, throw it around & it's holding up nicely!

So cool!
Minds in Motion had it at our school so that is why I bought it. I like the fact that the magnetic balls cannot get lost because of the plastic shield. It is so cool! I hope our grandchildren will like it.
