I suffer from hot flashes and this not only helps at night but while sitting on the couch watching television in the evening. I can either put it behind my back or sit on it. It cools you down quite fast.

The product is not what is pictured it is a hard pad that is uncomfortable and stiff.

The gel pad I received looks NOTHING like the picture shown, It was just a thin polyester covered gel pad, not the double sided pillow pad shown on the seller's page. I would return it, but it was one of my son's Christmas presents :(
