Having said that, let me clarify. Of the 'guess what you'll get' variety of toys, L.O.L. do make the best & give you the most for your money. However, the kids LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, them! Judging by my granddaughters & their friends, these will be remembered long after they are grown. When I was their age, the "Thumbelina- doll that really moves" was the hotest thing going. I wanted one so bad my teeth hurt. Especially after my cousins got theirs. I never got one & I still want Thumbelina at 70yo. So I figure if the kids get as much joy out of the toy as I've seen, it must be something about the toy that only children's eyes can see.
