A: You should be able to measure the outside if you bought it or the best bet Is to buy the jig it has to be 1 1/4 " deepother than that just use a caliper or trace a hole the top plate will cover any small mistake. But but the jig its 16 dollars.

**Q: Anyone know it it will mount flush on an acoustic because of the slight curve of the body of guitar**
A: probably not....it is meant to mount to a flat surface so you will need to find a flat spot on your acoustic to mount this or find a curved box

A: No, it does not come with an on/off switch.
