Back is padded so no slipping. Stay flat and weighted so they're easy to put in place and scaffold wheels don't get tangled or hung up. Never any chance of confusing the good side with the wrong (dirty) side. One person can fold easily and especially 'neatly' and compact. Fairly leak resistant but don't flake in freezing winter like the butyl backed drops do. Anybody that's ever been in the business knows exactly what I'm talking about. I've finished/repaired drywall/plaster, and painted for 50 yrs and I'm telling you - if you're in for the long haul, do yourself a favor and spend the extra money and throw away your old drops (or save them for covering things other than the floor). There are very few products that have impressed me in my lifetime to this extent and this is one of them. Oh!
