**Q: I train with my wife, who is only 105 lbs. Will these protect her from strong kicks from a bigger person?**
A: Where I train no girl got injured and we have these Thaipads and other cheaper. It depend a lot of your standing position and how you grab the pads. If you don't hold the pads correctly you will get injured. But these pads are very well made and big enough to stop any kick. And they are very tight at the beginning but they got a bit softer with the time. Good training!

**Q: Is there any issue with the Velcro wearing out, losing its adhesivness?**
A: Absolutely not. The velcro is top notch.

**Q: so, if i order these, they come in a pair????**
A: Not necessarily. I only got one and amazon is making me ship the order back if i want the other one. Go figure that one out. If theres a local fight shop near you, consider going there and save yourself the time

**Q: Does anyone know how much they actually weight? 4lb each? I looked at the website and it says 5.7lbs each...**
A: Sorry for late reply. Each side weight around 1.3 kg or 3.48 lbs. Thank you.

Awesome Thai Pads! Took me some time to write a review because I wanted to give this some time before I give my opinion to others. I Used these constantly and it's starting to show signs of wear (purchased 1 year ago) but all the seams and leather is still in tact. The abuse from kicking, knees, elbows and punches has shown how good these pads are and how long they can last. The padding is still nice and thick has a small indentation from the hard kicks. My Muay Thai training is intense so these extra thick thai pads are amazing the price is high, but worth it. Don't get cheap thai pads because you will be switching them out within a years time if your consistently training. I've done it several times already so get a good brand thai pad if you want good build quality.Twins, Fairtex, and Yokkao are some of the top Muay Thai brands.
