I was skeptical buying it because it only had a single review.Seems of nice handmade quality. Yes you can 'see through' parts because of how it is stitched/patterened; that is just how it is. But the yarn looks nice and thick and hopefully this will last a very long time. It is warm and just large enough for one person to use as a blanket. This is my new couch blanket and so far, it is way better than any of the fleece or microfiber type blankets I have owned. How long it lasts will be what matters most.I do own lots of merino wool clothing as well as alpaca and cashmere. Like some of my clothing, I will wash this blanket carefully. Some of my clothing I wash on the delicate cycle in the machine, but this blanket I will just hand wash and air dry, doing this should make it last a very long time. Also, being merino wool, it shouldn't smell very quickly, so it shouldn't need washing as often as other synthetic or cotton blankets.I am giving this blankets 5 stars for now, because it arrived exactly like what I thought it would be.
