Fujifilm Silk FP 100C Instant CN Film

Film was not expired (about 3 months away) and worked perfectly. Packaging was perfect as well, although I didn't appreciate having to peel off a sticker to reveal the expiration date... I prefer the quality of the this FP-100C Silk over the glossy kind. I would call this lustre.

Just ok. A couple of the pictures didn't develop properly. Old date code on box.

Great film, works well in my older pack film polaroids. Great matte look to your pictures.

I'd like to take a moment and share my experience with the 2 packs of film you sent me. I paid full price for what I assumed was a new product, but I received film which had the UPC barcodes cut off and carefully covered with green tape. I also noticed your ID labels were also carefully placed...over the expiration dates. I was hesitant, but I trusted you sent me good film. I used both packs of film only to find the colors were off as well as seeing odd chemical stains on a few of the prints from both packs. Also, some of the pictures did not peel properly. This leads me to believe the film was expired and not stored properly, showing clear signs of long term heat stress. Considering I expressly purchased what I thought was new film for an expensive contracted project, I had to spend $200 on another batch of fresh film and have it shipped overnight so that I could meet my deadline.

received old/damaged film. fp-100c (non silk) generally works great for me, but this silk package I received had 0/10 exposures ending up blurry as all hell. I know my camera works.

Didn't work for the camera I have, but it's not the vendor's fault.

Entire pack wasted. There seems to be an issue with the paper that pulls the film through the rollers. The entire pack the paper simply pulled out without pulling the film through the rollers. Purchased from RitzCamera, used on a known good camera with clean rollers. Debating whether to buy another pack and see if it was specific to that lot/pack or not. Love the look of the silk film but all of these are getting old now since Fuji stopped production a couple of years ago. It could be the glue is bad/going bad.

der fp-100c ist ein toller film und ich bin unglaublich glücklich, dass ich damit noch "futter" für mein polaroid-magazin bekomme. leider nur iso100 - also mehr der sommer- oder studio-film...aber da macht er sich hervorragend. egal, ob man nun auf ein sofortbild aus ist oder ein polaroid als belichtungstest nutzt. verwende ihn mit einer RB67 und bei sonnenschein, auch gerade jetzt im herbst, wenn man das warme licht am abend nutzen kann, entstehen klasse fotos. naturgemäß weniger freiraum bei iso100 sofortbild, als wenn man selbst entwickelt, aber das sollte jedem klar sein. spätestens dann, wenn man, wie ich, beim ersten testen des films an die aufnahmen herangeht, als wenn es ein normaler rollfilm wäre (jaja, der mensch ist ein gewohnheitstier und ich kannte vorher nur die typischen polaroids, die liegen bei iso400-800 glaube ich) und die ersten dunklen aufnahmen in der hand hält und auch wirklich darüber nachdenkt warum die denn so dunkel sind...merkt man, dass es die eigenen fehler sind und nicht schuld des filmes. :) aber so ist das eben im analogen - ich selbst verbuche bei neuen marken/typen immer eine rolle als "gewöhnungsphase". danach wird es besser. :) war ursprünglich mehr als testballon gedacht, aber ich habe bereits eine zweite bestellung für den fp-100c aufgegeben und es wird sicher nicht die letzte sein. neben dem fp-100c bietet fuji leider "nur" noch den iso3000 in s/w für das format an - schön wäre ein farbfilm "dazwischen" (in 400er oder 800er). wer den film "im feld" verwenden möchte: geht, aber mit den entsprechenden nachteilen, die so eine art film mit sich bringt (feuchte fotos, trockenzeit, abfall). wer sich an einer stelle positioniert kann damit leben - wer "wandert" bekommt schon probleme, sofern er keinen assistenten dabei hat. da sind die neuen instax praktischer (nach foto einfach in die tasche, nur nicht quetschen) - geht mit den fp100 natürlich so in der form nicht. dafür spielen die fp-100c qualitativ aber auch in einer ganz anderen, höheren, liga.

Es una película instantánea tipo "peel apart", lo que implica tener que separar el negativo del positivo tras la exposición y puede ser un engorro por los residios de los productos de revelado y porque la fotografía está en cierta manera húmeda al separarla, por lo que hay que tener cuidado. Los resultados son estupendos con antiguas Polaroid y además no es muy sensible respecto a los tiempos de revelado, por lo que no perderemos una foto por olvidarnos cinco minutos de ella.

ho ordinato questa pellicola come regalo di compleanno per mio figlio che è appassionato di fotografia. mia madre gli ha regalato una polaroid che era di mio padre del 1967 ed io ho pensato di regalargli la pellicola. Dopo aver contattato il venditore per accertarmi che fosse compatibile l ho ordinata. Quando l ho data a mio figlio ho visto davvero la gioia nei suoi occhi. Bellissimo!!!!!

Une excellente référence de film instantané. Il offre un rendu de bonne qualité mais un peu froid. Le rendu Silk est plus proche d'un rendu perlé avec du relief. Il est par contre "mat". Il faut se dépêcher puisque Fujifilm a décidé d'arrêter la production de cette référence et de son frère brillant: FP-100C. Quel dommage !
