Good caps with nails
The Stinger roofing nailer doesn't include nails or caps so you'll need this box of 2000 caps and nails. The package contains 10 rolls of 200 nails and 10 rolls of 200 green plastic caps. The box has separate compartments for the nails and caps and even with delivery abuse everything would load into the nailer with no problems.I'm not a roofer but I read that plastic caps with nails are better than staples for synthetic underlayment. I'm very satisfied with the setup even though it adds a cost to the one time project.3 month [covid] edit. More praise for these nails because they are galvanized. After 4 months of exposure to dew and rain, these nailheads look brand new whereas the orange capped roofing nails from HD that I hammer in have severely rusted heads.
